Lacks charisma, flash and talent...

Personally I like Timmy, he's a scrappy little dude with good work ethic and one of the best chins in the sport...He comes to fight every time, its not his fault he wasn't blessed with a big mouth and flashy hands...

im not a fan...there's so much that timmy does wrong in the ring it aggravates me..its aggravated me in the years ive watched him..ever since i believe it was the witter fight..visually his style is not pleasing to watch...the bullshyt flurries, the lack of jab, no turning over on his punches, the fukking headbutting..i found his fights a struggle to watch..but i do respect that he came into the ring in the best condition he could be and gave it a try...he prolly has one of the best resumes in boxing today..he actually faced the majority of them in their primes..now why how he earned my hatred was that he was gifted a victory over pacquiao in a fight that i scored 119-109...i scored it only 1 round..i had money on that gotdamn fight ..he tried to act like he won a clear victory..so of course ive been rooting for him to get ko'ed..i nearly got that in the provodnikov fight..lucky big headed chipmunk looking nikka ..however i did respect he went to war and had me like at that fight...but until he gets ko'ed he's on my shytlist

A few months ago, trainer Angel Garcia spoke to BoxingScene.com and took several shots at two-time Olympic champion Zou Shiming of China. Garcia was unhappy with the way HBO was pushing Shiming, and the way Shiming was getting paid, in comparison to many Olympians from the United States who are not getting paid and unable to get major television dates for several years.

On Thursday, Garcia once again took aim at Shiming, 32-years-old, over his recent showcase on HBO and the paycheck he received of $500,000 for only his second pro fight, which came against an 18-year-old prospect from Mexico, Jesus Ortega.

Shiming will now return for his third fight as part of the undercard for the Manny Pacquiao-Brandon Rios HBO pay-per-view on November 23 in Macau.

"If you are paying 60 dollars, you want to see something good. You don't want to see something like a few weeks ago. A 3-0 guy, 118-pounds, with a pamper on wet. Are you serious? We talking about that Chinese guy from China. I don't know his name. I could have went to an amateur show and watched that, and paid ten bucks at the door," Garcia told BoxingScene.com.

"This guy is getting $500,000 for what? Let him earn his money like Danny did. Danny was making $2500 for a four rounder [in his second fight]. [Shiming] is getting that for what? He's a grown man fighting little kids in there. He's fighting little kids. Because in those countries it's not like America. In America you have a box-off and [the winner goes to the Olympics]. Over there they keep them and just [point a finger and say] 'you're going to the Olympics...not him, you'. He's fighting 17 and 18 year old kids, you would be an two-time Olympic champion too."

"They say got 10 million views in China. There are a billion people over there and half of them turned on because he's Chinese."

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has not given up on a potential fight between Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38KOs) and Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs). The fight has long been demanded, but negotiations to make the contest have failed time and time again.

The bout lost some steam in 2012, after Pacquiao suffered back to back defeats to Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Both fighters have important matches coming up. Mayweather goes back to junior middleweight to face Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on September 14th in Las Vegas. Pacquiao travels to China to trade punches with Brandon Rios on November 23.

Arum's company is doing a lot of business in Asia. If both superstars win, Arum would like to make Pacquiao-Mayweather in Asia - and he guarantees the money involved would blow away anything Mayweather has ever made for a single fight.

"We're going to demonstrate to Floyd that the money that can be made from a Floyd-Pacquiao fight in Asia exceeds anything that he could have dreamed of. The rest is up to Floyd," Arum told BoxingScene.com.

There is the issue of networks. Mayweather has an exclusive multi-fight agreement with Showtime. Arum's company is doing exclusive business with network rival HBO. The veteran promoter is not worried about the network situation as being a breaking point in making the fight.

"We haven't done a fight at Showtime in two years. But be that as it may, these things have a whole history of resolving themselves," Arum said.
