If anyone's interested here's aupdate on my boxing training:
Unfortunately imma have to curb my dreams of being a paid sparring partner.
shyt is just too much money for a young nikka whose trying to save up for a crib and student loans bullshyt.
Living in a non-boxing ass city like Raleigh, I have to travel cross-town to the only certified boxing gym in the area. And that membership wasn't cheap.
Along with my job promotion (ain't shyt but more responsibility) I had to hang up the gloves.
It was definitely worth the effort though,
I watch my self grow into a dicisplined boxer puncher. Im very far from mastering the art, but I can hurt someone.
And I can probably catch a cannon ball now thanks to those vicious medicine ball drills
shyt sucks but I gotta prioritize life. My only regret is not boxing at a young age. But I was lil punk back then.
Such is life

I still haven't forgiven haye for his performance against wlad a couple years ago...cost me like 250 bucks on a bet..i fell for his bullshyt prefight talk...nikka was talkin like he was going to go to war
I truly believe that once the Klitschko's retire, David Haye will be the undisputed Heavyweight Champion and own all the belts (WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, Ring).
He talks enough to be marketable and could bring back the HW division![]()
Not a bad fight, but not much to choose from anyway if you're Alvarado......By Rick Reeno
BoxingScene.com has been advised that HBO is very interested in having WBO interim-junior welterweight champion Mike Alvarado (34-1, 23KOs) face Ruslan Provodnikov (22-2, 15KOs), potentially on a televised date of October 19th. Alvarado last fought in March, where he won a close twelve round unanimous decision over Brandon Rios in their high profile rematch. Provodnikov was also last seen in action in the month of March, when he moved up to the welterweight division and nearly knocked out WBO champion Timothy Bradley. While Provodnikov came close, Bradley was able to hang on and win a razor-close twelve round decision.
If Alvarado-Provodnikov is made - HBO's current schedule would suggest the event would get packaged with the replay of Timothy Bradley-Juan Manuel Marquez, which takes place on HBO pay-per-view one week prior at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Poor poor Rigondeaux.........signed to that fukk nikka Arum, dude's being punished for winning against his cash cow
But all hope is not lost, there are a couple names that are available while we wait on Donaire/Darchinyan 2
1. Cristain Mijares, lost a RAZOR thin decision to Victor Terrazas for the WBC belt, still a high quality fighter
2. Carl Frampton...has a tune-up/TRASH/stay busy fight on the 20th of this month, maybe afterwards he'd like to take on the best, probably not but who knows
3. Jeffrey Mathebula...this is the fight I wanna see, not sure why's so inactive right now...
4. Fernando Montiel......is he back to beast mode? Well, as good as he'll get at this point, why not?
5. Joseph Agbeko.......Agbeko has already stated he's moving on up to Super Bantam, former champ, good fighter, why not
