Pretty much….I usually don’t give a shyt about the whole “calling out” thing since fights are really made with contracts and lawyers rather than just trash talk. But Dawson went on and publicly said he could make 168, then signed the contract to make 168, and got his ass beat. All his fault.

Dawson seemed like one of those very physically talented guys that was missing a little something. He was a very good fighter, but it seemed there was some spark or desire that he lacked that the elites have.

The first Glen Johnson fight was a really good fight, BTW
Chad had horrible relationships with trainers man...the best he ever looked was when Floyd Sr trained him...later it was other personal shyt in his life..some of which i kind of knew since chad and I ran in same social circles..he is kind of like Zab..by the time he got it together he already started to slide

I love Andre Ward and you are completely 100% correct

I still love him for finally putting an end to that godforsaken human being Sergey

No matter which way y'all scored the first fight. I had Ward winning by the exact same margin as the judges. But the second one was a thing of beauty
My only regret & @patscorpio well knows this, is that Bad Chad or SOG didn't get the opportunity to whoop Joe Calzaghe ass :heh:

Pat knows if there's one fighter I irrational hate & can't stand, its Cal lol

Sort of like Jorge Linares? He was one of my favorites too

Count me in that pool too I can't stand that guy.

I ain't going to lie. He put an absolute beating on Jeff Lacy

One of the many reasons I can't stand him lol. He played the waiting game on Roy & Hopkins. Aged them out but got dropped by both well outside of their prime; especially the ghost of Roy Jones Jr. who would've sparked him within 6 in his prime & pre-Tarver weight cut

I liked Sugar Shane's right hand that nearly dropped him more though. Young Shane might've stopped him. In his prime when he had you hurt, he more than likely got you outta there. A fight between them in their primes or close to would've been crazy
