I don’t think anyone doubts the ref was counting slow. He took 12-13 seconds on both KDs.
The only question is whether or not it mattered in terms of Douglas getting up. He seemed to be pretty aware and got up when he was supposed to, as opposed to some badly hurt guy who barely beats the count because he’s all out of it and legs are bad.
Although if I’m in Douglas’s corner, I wouldn’t like how close he cut it. Yeah you don’t want to rush it too fast when you get up (like Zab), but you don’t want to cut it too close either. Take your time but get up at like 6, not at 8-9 like Douglas did.
