Move..... up... in.... weight lol

Tired of these fighters sinking down too much from their natural weight to get some perceived advantage. I get if you can go down in weight for maybe 2 weight classes, and do it comfortably and get a good nutritionist. But nah, this dude looks like he can campaign at 135, maybe even 140. And he's a growing young man on top of it
they are doing it more now because they have 36 hours to rehydrate. weigh-ins are friday morning and they fight Saturday night going into Sunday. The weigh ins on friday afternoons are fake and just for show, they have already weight in about 10 hours earlier and started the rehydration process.

We all know Spence defense can be on some struggle shyt sometimes, just don't fukking tell me it's as bad as Tim Tsyzu's defense.

that was really my only point in all this defense talk. :mjlol:
I'll still argue with you it's definitely in the same realm of bad lol

Tank retiring after 2025.

After the roach fight he's thinking about Fighting Ryan again. Maybe that's why the fight date got pushed back.

I know Coach Kenny mentioned earlier this year that Tank only had about five or so more fights before he wanted to hang it up.

The Loma fight fell through. So that makes 4. Negotations for the Shakur fight fell through around the time Kur had that hand injury. So that leaves 3.

Coach calvin said Devin lost his chance to fight tank when he went up in weight and relinquished the belts. So that's out the picture.

So yeah Tank might end his career fighting Ryan again once he comes off that Ban.

Tank Davis isn't retiring. This is the Too Short, Master P & Jay-Z blueprint from the 90s where they used retirement as a promotional tool only to return a year or two later. There's too much money on the table for Tank to walk away even if he hates what comes with the sport.

I don't know why yall are even buying into this nonsense

It could just be promotional.

But I can 100% see tank retiring early because this is a dude that said he doesn't care about chasing belts but in terms of Devin that was the only thing he said he was interested in so maybe you're right. Also his Coach Kenny mentioned in a interview that Tank only wanted to fight a few more fights then leaving boxing. So if you want to know why I'm just going off dude's personality and Coach's word.

3:12 ish mark.

"I don’t care about belts. I don’t care about none of that. I’m worried about getting my money"

- Tank Davis

:francis:
That's why I can believe Tank will retire personally.

He's a prize fighter not a legacy fighter.

Marshawn Lynch of boxing.

"I'm here just for a check."

Let's be real, Tank is 30 years old. WTF is he going to do if he retires at 31 and don't tell me this man has made enough money because we've seen guys who have made way more go broke. It's not like he has a ton of endorsement deals and a million things going on outside of boxing.

Let's be real, he does hate what comes with boxing. He clearly doesn't like doing media, doesn't like doing interviews, he's probably been spoiled from all the Showtime paydays during his career and now that Showtime is gone and it's PBC funding their own fights for Amazon, it's tougher for him to get the bags he wants but he's not going to completely walk away at the age of 31. It's not happening.

If it does, I'll eat my words but everytime there's a Tank fight there's always some nonsense with him and Mayweather going back and forth. This time, it's him retiring. It's obvious, this is promotional with a hint of truth (just like the Floyd situation).

he may as well, because he's not going to fight any top fighters for the rest of his career.

We'll see as time passes. To your point we have seen tank do various antics along the way, like showing up late, some even accused him of having fake beef with Floyd to sell fights. Also retiring early means he would be taking less damage to his body. That something we don't always see put out there, I know some boxers conceal their health issues because they don't want to be viewed as weak or give their opponents an edge if it's something they can target over and over again.
