When the did the first face to face, I thought Spence would walk thru Porter because he was so much bigger than him.

This fight let me know to never underestimate Shawn Porter.

so did i..i thought spence would ko him...this is where i started to raise my eyebrow...its bad when i mentioned how much porter was lighting spence up...porter is not known for lighting cats up with his punching..he fought out of his mind and really only lost on the cards for me due to the knockdown

Based on Spence word the fight was ugly because he says he wanted to beat Porter at his own game/style.

Nah... Porter had a very unique ability to turn fights into that. Brook and Thurman are the only two fighters to make Porter fight their fight. Brook moreso Brook than Thurman.

i actually think thurman got caught up in porter's fight...i was there...that was a hard 12 round thurman got put through..so much the cats around me in my section were saying porter won that

brook though schooled porter and the draw card that was announced was a disgrace...that was an easy 9-3, 8-4 type fight

That's kinda why I backed off saying Thurman.

Against Thurman it was a matter of moments. Keith seemed to have the better moments. I can't remember the round but Porter did that Joe Frazier lunging in shyt and Thurman caught him coming in. Everybody went nuts. How's Porter didn't drop from that shot is still amazing to me.

By far one of PBC's best fights. @MoshpitMazi mentioned it earlier, but Porter got some certified classics on his list and didn't duck anybody. Hell, the way he blitzed Paulie is the reason why he's a HOF'er for me.

I don't think i talk enough about how much I hate Paulie Malignaggi. He's in my Danny and Mikey Garcia tier of fighters I hate.

I'll give it to you. The Broner fight and the Ugas fight are both unwatchable. Just ugly boxing thru in thru.

I also thought Spence would walk through Porter, I remember how crazy it was how confident Porter was in the pre fight press conferences

The way Porter was able to consistently push back Spence and overwhelm him athletically was amazing. Honestly that fight should have been a draw, even with the knockdown

That was the night everyone who thought Spence was the "boogeyman of the division" go
