so did i..i thought spence would ko him...this is where i started to raise my eyebrow...its bad when i mentioned how much porter was lighting spence up...porter is not known for lighting cats up with his punching..he fought out of his mind and really only lost on the cards for me due to the knockdown

I feel like Porter is Spence's first real test without any asterisks attached

- In his physical prime or close enough to it without any previous injuries or major ass kickings (Brook)
- Not undersized, but a big physical strong welterweight (Mikey)

You can rank Brook and Mikey above Porter, but he definitely brings certain intangibles they lacked that will challenge Spence differently than he's ever been challenged before.

I still favor Spence, but I look at it like a 60/40 fight. I feel like footwork will be a factor. I think Spence will be better off going right at Porter. I think it'll be a much closer fight if Porter has to be the aggressor. I don't think Spence has the ring agility or footwork to out maneuver Porter cleanly for 12 rds. He'll eventually end up trading on his backfoot if Porter traps and mauls him.

I feel like this fight is gonna be rough, mean, and down right nasty. Spence don't take any shyt and Porter is a super competitor . We might get a FOTY outta this.

Worst case scenario, Porter can't figure out what he wants to do like in the Ugas fight and we get some bullshyt.

Very similar to how I'm thinking. I'm favoring Spence but I have no doubt Porter WILL make it rough for him in spots. Unless making 47 has finally took its toll on Porter as @patscorpio might be right about as well, I don't see anyone steamrolling him. It will be competitive as long as it lasts. Also Porter already looks in phenomenal shape so I don't think he'll have any weight problems
