Why cross the street when they were both on the same side?
To get more guaranteed money being offered elsewhere?
Because if crossing the street is the only way to get the Canelo fight then it's worth it for a career high payday?
Has Benevidez sold over 100k ppvs yet?
Why would crossing the street ruin his relationship with anyone if they all making money off of it. Is it about Benavidez best interest or PBC best interest. Hearns claimed they reached out and Benavidez nixed the possibility

Wonder what the guarantees will be for this fight. Depending on what it is could tell us if Canelo move was purely about the opponents or the lack of "escrow". Dazn was able to get Canelo to accept the tougher fight if this is true when PBC couldn't

Agreed. Mungia a much more difficult fight than Jermall so we can deduce that it wasn’t the opposition that was the problem. The financial stuff seems more likely at this point. :sas2:

"Tougher" you mean more than Mall? We will see when the numbers come out, the only reason I see a Mall pivot if it's not money related is if they feel Mall hasn't done anything to build himself in the time frame Canelo signed to be seen as viable.

yea the idea PBC went from not wanting to front $35mil for one fight to agreeing to front $90mil for two fights instead is kind of far fetch to me. How much would a Benavidez fight need to sell to essentially pay for both that and the Charlo fight. They probably wouldn't guarantee the Charlo purse

Ishe kinda said the same thing. SOG talks about the backhanded compliments Mayweather would give him in his book.

Floyd def comes across like a limelight hogger and a bit of a hater. Does it with his own fighters when they're shining, let alone fighters who have nothing to do with him. Glad Haney speaking this out loud. No reason for Floyd to be involved with this fight whatsoever. Not on PBC, and neither of them signed to him.

I think he's going to 160. There's three or four potentially good fights there. Maybe him, Zhanibek, Adames, and Eubank came bring a lil glory back to the division.

At this stage of his career, I think he loses to all 3

Brolic... Alcoholics
He needs to stop hanging out with toxic women

Filming someone while they are not sober then posting on social media is just evil. This is how the fishnet shyt happened
The funny thing about the fishnet shyt is he says he doesn't remember and I really believe he doesn't remember. That was probably the best coke he'd ever had in his life.

It's crazy how this dirtbag is a living legend and can probably beat up every poster in here :mjlol:

Do we really have proof? I'm not here to defend Canelo leaving. But I don't think PBC is telling the ever truth either. There's a third side somewhere and that's where the truth is.

The report I'm hearing is that PBC was not able to have enough money for Canelo's minimums in his contract. They were struggling to come up with $35 mill per fight as the minimum, Canelo saw this as PBC not honoring the contract
