While this fight eventually became a grueling slugfest due to Qwai's ability to cut off the ring as well as Holyfield always willing to engage, the first round shows effective BOXING. Attacking, making the aggressive fighter miss, and also making him pay, preferably with combinations

But when a fighter like Young Makaveli fights scary when he's in with a fighter of a certain skill set, I'm gonna call that out whether the Stans like it or not. Ryan isnt skilled and Derrick James isnt God lol.
I will say Ryan has that sneaky left and even caught Tank but Tank has a legit chin and ate it, and folks after Linares were questioning Devin so we will see

I just rewatched the 1st RJJ Griffin fight for the first time since it aired. I forgot how much trouble he gave RJJ. The second fight must’ve erased it from my memory. Eddie Futch was an amazing trainer
griffin was definitely in the fight scorewise before the DQ...so thats why how we won was never cheap to me..roy had an off night

That nikka totally faked not being able to continue bro lol. I understand Roy should've never put himself in that position, but Griffin knew his puzzle was solved by that point & his ass was about to get finished. He hammed it up so it would be stopped lol
