Agree 100.

I like him too, he's the type to make you remember that it doesn't always have to be about beating them down, flash or volume. Just reflexes, awkward mind games and anticipation.

Great for Haney, at this stage he has shown he destroys fighters that counter punch (Kambosos), fighters that can only punch, get out or brawl (Prograis), can outwork workers (Lomachenko), so on and so forth.

If he can dominate a complicated match up (Martin), then he can only get better when he jumps to Welterweight.

I think Shakur vs Devin happens at WW and Devin being younger yet seeing all these styles is going to make shyt interesting. Even with that old sparring footage between them you saw Devin was the offensive minded fighter and he is only going to get stronger.

I think there is going to be a ton of recency bias until shakurs next fight where he reminds folks of his talent (like he did against Jamel after snooze fest prior).

I'd like that to happen, I'm not so certain Shakur moves up the weight classes in the same synchronicity as Haney however.

They're only one weight class difference atm, but at least 18 months apart in size, hopefully that makes sense.

I like him. Mainly because of how he embarrassed Mikey Garcia. But he legit had Lopez second guessing himself. I got Haney if this gets lined up but it would make for an interesting fight.

And this is good for Haney. Another style of fighter to add to the list of other styles he's already fought
Haney beats him comfortably imo. He can do whatever Martin does well just better and has all the physical advantages too.

So it's a duck even though Ennis told Crawford "no" first? :dwillhuh:
People grasping at straws trying find shyt to hate on at this point
Bud is locked into a rematch clause, if that happens at 154 he's probably in that division going forward and it's plenty of smoke available there
IBF emailed Boots a belt so can't even use the "holding the division up" excuse. Boots need to focus on finding a promotional home and getting a title defense so people realize he's a champion then go from there

:heh::dead:

broad is embarrassing, dude sat down on that punch if there was no padding in those gloves she would have been eating cheeseburgers through a straw. she always want to talk about fighting men and now we see evidence of how that looks vs a bum journeyman and now she wants to catch feelings.

Bud damn near been on a press tour telling everybody that Boots is not a big fight, but most non-biased fans and casuals want that fight the most.

Crawford has been a clever “matchmaker” his entire career. He definitely picks and chooses, but has never really got called out on it.

I don’t necessarily blame him. He was getting good money from top rank to fight “meh” opponents and in the process carved out a hof career by becoming undisputed twice.

After Bud beat Spence, he can do whatever he wants to me. He's earned that right......especially after being frozen out by PBC most of his career.

This is a guy who wants to fight Canelo Alvarez so it's not like he's ducking challenges.
