Temple shot had him out cold standing up, the fall then after with no resistance caused him to hit his head on the mat. I can't even imagine the reboot his brain went through. He even tried to get up in the middle of it, can't say dude didn't have any heart.

It actually looked like he saw the punch coming, tried to roll with it, and it hit him on the temple and knocked him out.

It was ugly and sad.

The Tarver KO wasn’t as bad, it was just a perfectly timed and placed shot, and Roy was still stumbling to his feet when the ref reached 10.

Roy barely moved when Glen took him out.

he could prolly implement on young boxers or boxers lookin for any type of break but the established ones would tell him to get the fukk outta here

You’re right.

He would need to lock down all the top young talent, and let the established ones age themselves out.

The best way to start out as a promoter is to build your own roster, but these guys always want to start out with a splash and go after established guys.

IMO Each Sanctioning Body needs to form a League then once each body has a Champion do a "Play off" with finale being Undisputed match. This can turn the unifications + undisputed into an annual/bi annual mega event that will = the huge pay day + PPV

How would one go about getting the public interested in boxing?

Advertisement. Boxing is one of those things that people just have to see in action in order to get hooked. Especially with women.
I see it myself all the time. Women boxing fans are an untapped market in America.

I teach boxing at random parks and when we really cooking, people will come up and watch and ask questions, talk about random upcoming fights. This happens more often during months where there is a lot of quality boxing on tv (not just ppv, but showtime and espn)

Last Monday I was training somebody at a LA fitness and this random 18 yr old asked if my guy could beat Benevidez. I was shocked he knew who that was.

I think if promoters did a contender type series that focused on young prospects or serious influencer boxers that was streamed somewhere, the sport would grow even more.

A dope scripted boxing series would do wonders as well, Not to mention we're overdue for a boxing game too. As big as this year is, the sport would grow even bigger if aforementioned shyt happened.

the beginning of the unraveling of one errol spence

the rare time i miss a PBC PPV live due to a function I went to, they put on their best PPV offering to date :heh:

Truth & this is a fight I should've went to live! Lotta Spence fans were in denial he got lit up this fight. If some already didn't realize just how bad he was defensively, this fight should've been a huge warning sign that a counter puncher with power would exploit that
