Fox gave the fight away but those cards were ridiculous. 98-92 on 2 cards while Fox was keeping Bazinyan in check with a jab until he gassed. I was impressed by how Bazinyan came back but I don't see him doing the same against others.

Dude is only 7 fights in his career and fighting a guy that was ranked top 10 not even a year ago. Also it’s a good measuring stick where he is now compared to Ryan Garcia.

Teofimo Lopez Sr. prides himself on knowing the ins and outs of the boxing world. Prior to his son, Teofimo Lopez, going on to become a unified champion at 135 pounds, the bombastic father and trainer brazenly shouted that his son would knock the Ukrainian off his high horse.
His sentiments, however, were met with consistent snickers as Lomachenko, and most of the boxing public, viewed team Lopez as nothing more than a tenuous challenger. Lo and behold, Lopez Sr. proved his naysayers wrong as he formulated a game plan that allowed his son to eke out a unanimous decision victory.
All along, the former Trainer of the Year was hopeful that his son’s contemporaries would follow in his footsteps and take on some of the best fighters around.
But, from Lopez Sr.’s point of view, the next generation of fighters have continued to take on soft touches. His viewpoint is directed at numerous fighters - including Gervonta “Tank” Davis.
According to Lopez Sr., Davis continued his bemusing trend of opponent selection on January 7th. On the night, the hard-hitting star packed the house at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. as Hector Luis Garcia stood across the ring from him.
Although the 31-year-old has represented the Dominican Republic in the Olympic Games and would go on to become a world champion at 130 pounds, Lopez Sr. reveals that he was clueless as to who Garcia actually was, along with every other foe Davis has ever shared the ring with.
“They fighting f------ nobodies,” said Lopez Sr. to BoxingScene.com. “I didn’t even know who this dude was. Every time that Tank fights somebody, I don’t know who they are.”
But, despite Davis facing what Lopez Sr. views as cannon fodder, he acknowledges that the Baltimore native is very much a star.
Lopez believes that Davis has found a winning formula, one that he wholeheartedly disagrees with.
“Tank is trying to make as much money as he can by fighting nobodies. And that’s exactly what he has done.”
