how does these fight guarantees work? normally do both boxers promoters bring a guarantee or just the A side?

It's a guaranteed amount of money you get no matter how much a fight sells. Even if the fight completely flops you still get that guarantee regardless. And yes it usually goes to both fighters. PBC has done guarantees for all of their fights. From pac-floyd all the way down to fights like porter vs ugas. Even Robert helenius got a guarantee for the wilder fight

.....now tell me if that makes sense. It's basically just shut up and take whatever we give you. PBC was never negotiating in good faith. They never wanted this fight to be made. They knew bud would walk away as soon as they said no guarantee. And when he didn't they just dragged their ass until he finally did. Bud said all along he wanted to fight before the end of the year. After PBC made it apparent that wasn't happening bud moved on.PBC doesn't like negotiating with fighters. That's not how they operate. They don't like fighters having any say when it comes to the business side. Haymon essentially told bud he wasn't worthy to sit at the table.
A new day is coming. The days of the old boxing promoter running shyt are coming to an end. They're the only ones who can't see it. And Bud getting 10 mil from blk drove that point home. Fighters don't need all these managers and representatives anymore. Cause they will always look out for themselves first. So I don't even blame Spence. I’m not saying Mayweather’s micromanaging approach is perfect, but it’s kept Tank alive. Tank bytching and complaining about Floyd and Leonard about whatever leading up to the promotion of a fight is better then the alternative. It isn’t like they have any problems over money.
Shakur seems more level headed, and probably would benefit from it as well.
