exactly what i said, it's on PBC. they been marinating this fight for the longest and will make all the money on it. Should have presented Crawford with an offer he couldn't refuse to get the deal down.

It's kind of strange that PBC never made an earnest attempt to woo Crawford away from TR when he resigned last time and now that he's a free agent they still don't seem that pressed to get him under the banner now even though it would likely result in a trilogy with one of their bigger PPV fighters.

You ever think that maybe he wants to remain a free agent? Floyd wanted to sign him too, so it's not just the PBC.

Just because it's a debate doesn't change the fact that all the evidence points to the belt being more important than Crawford. Crawford's name and status don't mean much otherwise he'd be bringing more to the table and PBC wouldn't mind signing him long term.

If PBC doesn't want to sign Crawford long term it sounds like they are actually confident in Spence's ability to take the belt off of him and don't want anything to do with him outside of that otherwise they would have been asking for rematch clauses, to my knowledge Crawford wants rematch clauses. Crawford is selling his belt, not Crawford.

I believe the rematch clause was already agreed too, with the winner of the first fight getting a bigger split.

I think it’s the only fight they can take next That they think is safe. They don’t want to fight Loma or Haney, but they also don’t want to fight Teo or Josh Taylor. It’s the fight that makes sense without fighting for a belt.
