On a way I get it, if it’s indeed fake, it’s distasteful and
playing on fan sympathy by creating a fake story instead of just telling ppl you step back for a few months for personal reasons.At the same time I’m not too bothered by it, dude’s a ring announcer, nothing stopped in the sport because his injury report, it had no effect on the fights or anything. Like if he was on rehab or something the same things would happen in the sport.

he’s an announcer I don’t eve have to like him or root for him, he just has to get the crowd and the viewers hypeweird to fabricate a story when there was no need though, no doubt
If Diamante wasn't still talking about his "miracle" recovery folks would probably let it slide, since he's not, oh well. I'm not sure why him being an announcer means he's exempt from scrutiny. To me it also speaks volumes to the merit and character of the individual in discussion.
If you're willing to develop a lie to that extent, live it out, discuss it in detail in interviews etc then your'e beyond untrustworthy, you're damn near dangerous imo.
