Still an interesting fight though.
Mildly surprised that GBP/Zanfer are letting him go to a PBC platform against someone that Munguia's gonna be a clear underdog. Money must have been right.

Me too but I guess with Canelo being busy with others for the rest of the year it wasn't that hurrying afterall.
This is a good fight though, don't mind it.
I think Charlo can be better than he was against Montiel, he'll be more motivated and beats Munguia. Munguia has a decent chance though but not the style that usually give Charlo much trouble

Canelo seems busy this whole year. Mungia is WBA regular champ right? I wonder if Charlo beating him, nets him the WBA Super since GGG may have it after April but will fight Canelo in fall and probably retire.

No, he has no WBA title. Murata was the WBA regular, they bumped him up to WBA Super not long ago.
Munguia is first ranked by both the WBO and the WBC I think. Or maybe 1st by the WBC and 2nd by the WBO, something like that
ah gotcha, I think its WBO and I got it confused with WBA. And Andrade has vacated the WBO right since he is going to 168, or is this just a temp Move up?
Ultimately I'm just looking at what opps does Charlo have to snatch up some free belts lol. At least unify this yr and get the Canelo Payday next yr

According to this Munguia is still the 1st in their ranks we will see if they can fight for both belts
at 160..theres none..if andrade vacates his wbo 160...theres already a fight in place to fill the vacancy and of course the winner of GGG-Murata will have the other 2 belts
