fight of the year on paper
This is what I love about the lower weight divisions. Fulton is not taking an easy path.

There's optimism. Corneas generally begin to regenerate in 48 to 72 hours, but the process can take up to two weeks. Already, Rigondeaux can see sunlight and shadows, his manager said.
"The next week to 10 days is really going to define his fighting career and his future because that's when the cornea needs to regenerate itself and he can see or not," Boronte said. "But gathering from the last 24 hours, he's doing really good."
Unconventional and unpopular opinion - Joshua is fundamentally fine, was leading the cards at rnd 9 v Usyk. Got cut and lost gas, got beaten by an exceptionally skilled and experienced opponent.Started shopping for US trainers and did it for weeks only to end up with the guy that already gave him his insight for years? Wasn't getting some fresh eyes (preferably those of a highly acclaimed trainer) the point to begin with?

He didn't box pretty, and could have been more aggressive no doubt, but i don't believe there's all that much wrong with him, most would have lost to Usyk in a 12 rounder.

yeah folks ignore what AJ did to Usyk face lol. AJs lose was due to a horrible game plan more so than AJ being trash which is what made the fight so frustrating to watch.
lol AJ try and be aggressive if he wants in their rematch and he’s going to get clipped. If he don’t (T)KO Usyk or get multiple KD’s, he’s not winning a 12 rounder.

[/QUOTE]yes, I think that’s why AJ looks frustrated and clueless now. Can’t win a boxing match but also can’t win a fight based on the first encounter. It’s not like against Ruiz where his loss was the result of his own recklessness and it could be solved by simply switching strategy.
Fair enough, to me AJ def wasn’t ahead after 9. His best possible case imo is winning 4 rounds and all came in the first 8 rounds.Unconventional and unpopular opinion - Joshua is fundamentally fine, was leading the cards at rnd 9 v Usyk. We’ll see… I remember it like whenever AJ really tried to start a fight he got the short end of the stickif AJ started off with what got him success witb Usyk vs trying to box he wouldnt have been so gassed at the end where Usyk was able to regain steam.
usyk is one of them dudes where “you dont play with your food”

a guy like Lamon Brewster would be all wrong for Usyk imo.
