Where's this energy when all these other champions and contenders don't unify or even fight top 10 comp?

Canelo is significantly more active and fighting higher quality opp than anyone else from 160-175, and that's not even debatable.

Bivol is a strong champion at a weight class where Canelo is clearly undersized, and has only fought at once. This is significantly better than any other fight that the champions and contenders have made in recent years, and it's sadly probably better than anything they'll make this year.

Clearly undersized? Do you know what weight Canelo walks around at?

You know, this post pretty much tells me everything I need to know in a nutshell. Whenever we try to hold this man accountable you guys jump up and say "but what about what______ is doing?" . If he was truly the top dog, it shouldn't matter. They're the toughest fights and everyone knows it, he should be taking them out. He should be glad to take on any nd all comers one by one and prove why he deserves all the praise. WTF is this 'they all need to fight each other 1st' hoe shyt? No fck that take all they azzes out! You have the crown, u got big fish calling you out, take the biggest ones and fry em.

You guys would rather argue politics and why people SHOULDNT fight each other instead of wanting to see the fights happen. This is why I stopped taking him seriously as a great. It's why I don't get his apologists.

If there's a fighter who I think is the best I want to see him fight the best and win period. No excuses. Just like with EVERY great fighter who came before him. Bivol just another boring plain euro tailor made for him to crush. He is no threat here and no one cares. This does not move anyones needle.

Al Haymon offered Alvarez a one-fight deal worth upward of $45 million for a May 7 defense of his undisputed super middleweight championship against Jermall Charlo, sources said. Another PBC offer extended to Alvarez, 31, was for two fights and more than $100 million for a May fight with Charlo and a September bout with David Benavidez, sources said.

Instead, Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) chose the DAZN route, a deal that will guarantee him more than $85 million,

interesting, according to espn PBC offered canelo more money and more flexibility and he still turned that down :jbhmm:
he could fought Charlo on a 1 fight deal and still doubled back to a DAZN deal and fought GGG->Bivol (in that order so GGG wouldn't be too old)
contrary to what ppl keep saying in here, the article mentions the financial upside of the GGG fight so maybe it's some backend on that Canelo is betting will drive it over $100 mil....

Ha I paid for that trash canelo vs plant PPV cuz of an unfortunate reason..bivol is a superior fighter but canelo fights only fit within a 10 dollar a month subscription:ufdup:..so if its trash (which is a given) than better fights can mask it

Will pay for triple gawd vs canelo 3 though

Pay $80 to watch Bivol brehs :mjlol:

DAZN got the Fades :ohlawd:

wonder how that undercard goin look

Canelo hasn't had a decent undercard since the Kovalev fight and that shyt stole the show. :mjlol:

They learned their lesson and been providing trash ever since. :ohlawd:

If GGG knocks all the tires off the Toyota, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sept ppv reaches $100 :hhh:

I would love to debate this on ring gang radio because there's just too much to respond to, and typing gets tedious.

I simply don't understand why you speak about holding Canelo accountable, and get upset when fans hold entire divisions accountable? Should we hold Canelo accountable, but not anyone else? Are they not valid criticisms?

In regards to Canelo:

Yildirim came two months after beating Callum Smith, and was followed by a bout against Saunders three months later. 3 fights in 6 months.

Fielding came 3 months after Golovkin, and was followed by a bout against Jacobs 5 months later. 3 fights in 8 months.

Neither the Fielding or Yildirim fights held up the 160 or 168lb divisions.

If the Bivol fight happens, that will mean that Canelo will have fought three straight undefeated champions over two divisions.

If you think that's worthy of the criticism you have for Canelo, then I don't understand how you don't go mad when all these truly awful matchups get announced from middleweight to light heavyweight.

I'm curious to read why you think Bivol is "boring plain euro tailor made" for Canelo? Can you break it down for the ignorant?

Lastly, I find it interesting how you like to diminish everything Canelo does.

Canelo fighting Bivol -- "boring plain euro tailor made"

Canelo fighting at 175 -- "Clearly undersized? Do you know what weight Canelo walks around at?"

>"He should be glad to take on any nd all comers one by one and prove why he deserves all the praise."

>Literally just unified an entire division.:mjlol:
