what a great fight...FNF really use to make shows around new england...ESPN was good about that back in the day..although a New Hampshire venue was the worst place I've ever been regarding being at a live boxing event

If its a one fight deal them the fight happens but I'm guessing that one fight stipulation is only for Canelo to come to PBC and not for Plant to fight on DAZN.. Hopefully that's not the case

Why would Canelo go back into the same type of deal he went to court to get out of? Likely for tougher fights at that. It seems like autonomy is VERY important to him. And as the sports cash cow he has a ton of leverage. Boils down to why do guys need to sign to PBC to get fights. Bud being forced to do that is one thing. The cash cow of the sport being forced to do that and give those guys like Plant career pay days is hilarious. The PBC guys should be begging Haymon to do the cross promotion if required for both money and legacy. From a purely financial pov it's no argument for why every platform shouldn't be running to do a deal with Canelo, fight by fight or not
Canelo had a 10 fight deal with DAZN. It is definitely not the same. There is no problem with a short term deal if he wants access to the pbc stable. This is all moot anyway, as it appears pbc is open to a one fight deal.

Between 168 and 175 PBC only got 1 champion.. Why TF would he sign a 3 fight deal?? He may wanna fight Plant and go straight for Beterbiev or Bivol
Well they did give the charlos showcase cards on fox and they shyt the bed. I guess thats why theyre not fighting on the same cards anymore. Although the ppv with both of them was good..

Plant, Benavidez and Charlo ... those are 3 big money fights. That's the 3 PBC wants to line up, would you NOT want to see Canelo fight those 3 guys?
I wouldn't be mad at him fighting Beterbiev or Bivol either bc that's still the best fighting the best. But it's time we get the fights we been calling for. It's a shame these dudes are all in the same divisions, in the same era and we have to treat them like fantasy fights. We never get the shyt we want to see when we want them if ever.
