Haney is not big enough at all, which is why they can decline fighting him.
He’s viewed as a “high risk, low reward” fighter at this stage of his career. There’s plenty of opportunity for him to be bigger.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard people say “you watch the Tank fight?” This shyt just doesn’t happen with Haney like that. Haney has to get popular within the black community and it’s not there yet.

if tank, teo, Ryan, etc didn’t exist, he would be the most popular by default, some what similar to Terrance Crawford at the lower weight classes.
TC was popular because he was the best. I’m not comparing them as fighters, just the type of status that Devin would have if the others didn’t exist.
