I'm in the UK so i only really see american coverage when a big UK fighter is on there, but i know showtime always looks legit. The director at DAZN events should be replaced, they very often work with weird angles or they don't change camera in time and the ref's back blocks the view.
Showtime's production is the best out there, they work with tried and tested methods, no flashy stuff that meant to be fresh but ending up bothering instead. Showing a fight is really not something you can put 1000 twists on, just work with what people like. Referee camera is something I'm okay with but that's just an extra they show between rounds.
FOX with the live punch counter too... very bothering... I know data is everything nowadays but that's also kind of lying to the audience, making them believe they see trustworthy stats live... nah, don't show that shyt... if you really have to rely on questionable Compubox counts, limit that shyt between the rounds
and ofc both ESPN and DAZN with their double screen during fights. It's hella bothering especially when they make the pop up screen bigger than the screen of the actual fight. Like thanks but I'm trying to watch the fight here not seeing your interview with one of your other fighters and shyt. The actual fight should be always in focus, always.
I have seen that FOX punch counter though and you're right re: stats, give us a little taste between rounds but don't distract us from the actual eye test and judging what's in front of us.
