The way DAZN moving with his fighters and fight dates I doubt they even want him back, I'm convinced Canelo and DAZN worked together to get Golden Boy out the paint.Sounds like dazn could sue him even entertaining this type of discussion during a contract. But anyway i expect even more politics in boxing if this happens. Between promoters and apps we will see even less unifications.
Smh they burned his shyt down
Ryan Garcia is still a great value for them though, so is Vergil. Ryan Garcia might move with Canelo eventually but as things now stand...The way DAZN moving with his fighters and fight dates I doubt they even want him back, I'm convinced Canelo and DAZN worked together to get Golden Boy out the paint.
DAZN could so easily take over if they just sorted out the poor production. Hopefully now Matchroom has dropped sky and is going with DAZN in the UK they can steal some of the people behind those sky productions which tbf to them are always top notch in that respect.Ryan Garcia is still a great value for them though, so is Vergil. Don't know why GBP going to Triller would be good for either GBP or DAZN. GBP have some entertaining cards and for DAZN it should be good that Matchroom is not the only leg they stand on.
Looking at Triller so far, there's a wackiness about them that makes it hard for me to visualize it becoming a major player in boxing in the long run. It just doesn't seem like a network being fully committed about being a big player in the sport.
Tyson cut ties with them after just 1 exhibition fight cause they are shady... probably lying about PPV numbers... messaging ppl online who they think streamed the Paul - Askren card and threaten them with lawsuits.
Maybe I just see too much into these but all that shyt together really has an unprofessional, con-man vibe to it. They are probably too big to be a con-job though but still I don't see why GBP would go in this direction. Oscar probably doesn't even make that decision. Is the money that good? Cause they gonna be isolated from others then, at least now it's easy for them to make Matchroom vs GBP fights.
But I always said I'll support any new boxing project if it's any good, jut like I did with PBC and DAZN. So let's hope they gonna get organized and focused instead of this disjointed stuff if they really get GBP and want longterm success in the sport, it's just not easy to see that now.
I guess the Teo card will tell something about just how serious they plan this to be. They know that can't be some carny shytshow.
Best I Faced: Vassiliy Jirov - The Ring
In the gym we have a long hallway on the first floor,” said Jirov, estimating the length to be around 100 meters. “It was a very big building. I was standing at the end of the hallway with the German shepherd dog five-feet behind me.
“They would let the dog go as I started to run. At the end of the hallway was a door and if I make it through the door before the dog attacked me, the door would be closed behind me. If not, I had to fight off the dog. I have a rope in my hand so I could put it in the dog’s mouth so it would not bite me too much.”
Amazingly, the coach wanted to use a leopard but settled on the lesser of two evils because they didn’t have one.
its actually a shame...because i do like the GB cards on DAZN most of the timeThe way DAZN moving with his fighters and fight dates I doubt they even want him back, I'm convinced Canelo and DAZN worked together to get Golden Boy out the paint.
The director at DAZN events should be replaced, they very often work with weird angles or they don't change camera in time and the ref's back blocks the view.DAZN could so easily take over if they just sorted out the poor production.
