I can give the WBC a pass on this one... IF and that is IF, they actually follow through with the second part and order the winner of both fights to fight each other.
This is honestly what they should of did with Teo and Haney if we are keeping it 100.
WBA needs to make the 'Super' champ face the 'Regular' champ on an annual basis as well, since the Super champ don't have mando's either like the Franchise. A champion needs to have mandatories.

For the time being he does, taking the bigger money fight via this leeway over his rightful mandatory. I haven't said he's scared just that he ducks him now. Same what I thought of the Loma - Haney situation. It's not right.
In this case though, you got an immediate (and worthy) rematch taking place and pushing back the mandatory shot. While in Loma's case, he became franchise and got to fight whoever he wanted, a year later.
If the WBC is going to use the franchise belt shyt, this is a situation where it makes sense. Let Estrada and Choco handle their biz, Sor Is elevated to champion, and then let the winners fight for sole WBC champion status.
Haney's situation sucks because the WBC isn't pressuring Teofimo and Top Rank to make a fight with Haney. That's like keeping your balance sheet out of balance, shyt is unacceptable.

Ayo cuadras going through it
Sor should want to fight Cuadras again anyway. Cuadras got a dub against Sor, granted due to a cut, but it's still a dub since he was ahead on points. Sor needs that get back.

I was thinking about this last week. DAZN looked to be on its last legs last year, and quickly turned it all around. Honestly, for boxing fans, DAZN is a pretty good value right now.
