depends on who can vote.

Honestly I just wish boxing productions had more pageantry. I like how the Japanese gave Floyd Mayweather flowers before his fight against Tenshin. Stuff like that makes it more magical and mythical. Boxing is a brutal sport but it doesnt have to be so vulgar before and after the final bell.

Word I feel you.
The boxing production values could use a booster shot across the board. The Tyson/Jones ppv showed the potential if people actually try. Commentary teams being improved should be the first order of business for everybody. Especially for DAZN.

I think whoever is able to vote, their votes should be made public.

Boxing has too many agendas an is just flat out too divided to do something like that.
Most platforms are aligned with some type of promoter or boxers, etc.... so its hard to get some unbiased rankings and shyt. Hell, we all just seen James Toney get shafted from the HOF so its hard to really respect the shyt thats out there since nobody accountable for anything. That's the gift and the curse of boxing tho. :manny:

thats what made the WBSS so great..WBSS is one of the best things to happen to boxing in years

That fight might have ruined him and he didnt go "messican style" dude would have been done done had he tried it. :picard:

I was mentioning it another thread but I just rewatched that shyt and the sound that both of their punches were making :hhh: absolutely disgusting. Both of them were prob pissing blood that night. :hhh:
That fight was exactly what canelo needed to go to the next level. He needed that Floyd ass whooping and he needed that golovkin test to unleash his fullest potential. After that rematch you can see canelo truly believes he's unstoppable now. That's why I hate seeing all these talented fighters avoiding eachother. Wasting all their potential. In their 30's and still haven't fought one guy who could take em to the limit :beli:

PBC failed spectacularly at this when they first started.

They've figured it out recently though.

The British/ Matchroom do a good job for their fighters. Joshua's fights always have extra flair, Canelo's latest ring walk was well done as well.

Yall know better than me but are their other examples besides Floyd of fighters who intentionally switched up their fighting style as they got older?

ion mean doing it because a previous fight FORCED them to change, but them doing it on their own free will

think the 1st GGG fight made him realize if this mafukka can’t knock me out or even hurt me then nobody can and since then he’s stood in the middle of the ring and dared his opps to beat em

no doubt. I like that Muhammad ali trophy too. shyt like that is dope to me. Boxing just doesnt have an identity imo. Soccer, tennis, golf all have identities as a sport, whereas boxing does not.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
It really bothers me that there isnt more pageantry in boxing. There should be more done for the fighters. It shouldn't just be all about belts.

Like why isnt there an end of year awards ceremony where the p4p top 10 list is announced? Why isnt the p4p number 1 fighter more heralded? Why isnt there a p4p belt?

I feel like tennis and soccer have more pageantry.

There is one.. They gave it to the Euro-hype job back in 2018
