Danny is tailor made for FMJ. The reason why Zab started late is because he is gunshy anyway. Even after he hurt Danny he didnt go full blast and let his hands go. Zab too defensive and afraid to get hit. If Zab opened up, he couldve stopped Danny. The problem is...had he done that, he'd more likely be the one stopped.

Nevertheless, I think Danny deserves a shot at Money May more than Alvarez does. The victories over Khan and Zab are much better than struggling with the light punching Trout. In fact, I would rather see Danny in with Floyd than probably anyone else right now unless FMJ can coax Serge to come down to 152 and take him out if he feels he is really shot.

I see one of two things happening...

If Peterson wins, he'll face him next at 140 to solidify himself as the king of the division

If Matthysse wins, he'll claim he can't make the weight anymore and move on up to 147 to face one of numerous options, including Mayweather in the Fall

I disagree, I think that is very solid. I know FMJ whoops Danny...and I definitely know that Canelo is a more marketable fight and brings more intrigue with FMJ fighting a bigger guy as opposed to a smaller one. The problem with FMJ is, someone isnt going to be happy with his choice of opponents. Rightfully so he has to take the weight for that. Me personally, I just dont like the Canelo hype. He looks like a great choice but he is so green to have as many fights as he has had. When FMJ makes him look like the amateur is still is we will be doing revisionist's history.

I don't think there's any problem with Floyd taking the winner of that 140 lb "tournament" in 2014 or Garcia in September and the winner of Matthysse/Peterson vs. Khan in May of 2014. If Floyd is facing the top guys at 140/147/154 he can't be blamed if they're not good enough. He'd be facing top flight opponents, which is all we can ask for. Unless Floyd looks finished on Saturday, there's really no one around that can beat him in this 30 month stretch. I hate the idea of him fighting Devon Alexander because he's not in Floyd's class, but who is?

Who would you rather see him fight? Manny? Timothy Bradley? JMM? Even Sergio Martinez is looking

Frankly, I think Guerrero poses a bigger threat than any of these guys, and that's simply because I think he's going to make the fight dirty, like he did with Berto. I'm honestly giving him a better shot than you guys are...

If they tryin to build up Garcia they need him to clear out 140 first
