I really don't give a fukk about belts but if canelo wants to unify nothing we can do about it. Only problem is he gotta get this trash yildrim fight out of the way. As long as it's not on his may date I'm cool with it. Make that shyt for February then have either saunders or plant in may. Can't be mad at it. But if I had it my way it would be Charlo in May. Then worry about plant and saunders. But if Charlo was smart he would move up and challenge plant right off the bat. Don't see pbc turning that matchup down. Pretty much any network would pay for a canelo fight. Fox puts on ppv's that barely crack 200k. ESPN puts on ppv's that barely crack 100k. Canelo could fight a random bum off the street and do 300k. These networks are gonna be doing whatever they can to get canelo on their platform.
But my guess is that it will be in dazn. Especially if they know saunders will be coming right after. Canelo is in the driver seat now. I could even see him doing the fight on regular cable somewhere. Actually that would be the smart move for his brand. Showcase fight on regular cable. Get the highlight reel ko then move on to the big fight for may on ppv somewhere.

A. He jus beat the ring Champ at 168 N unified
B. The Champs are decent there isn’t an Idongo or Ricky Burns or Random Slovakian that beat a Random Euro to get a Belt
Besides that if the nikka wants a victory lap in Mexico he can do that let alone it’s a Mando

Either that or he pushes for the UK market with Hearns or he gets full cojones and fights Benavidez for a Mexican market extravaganza. But i don't expect the latter. Reynoso plays percentages, but makes it look more like risks.

If benavidez didn't get his belt stripped for being a fat fukk he would have the canelo fight in the bag already. Benavidez imo, missed weight because he pushes the limits of how far someone his size can boil down.
Canelo aka Reynoso at no point has ever indicated they'll ever get at Benavidez. Reynoso plays percentages. He doesn't want walk forward fighters. I don't blame them, last time they had a walk forward fighter it was both a draw and then a 50/50 win/loss depending who you talk to.
His crippled brother put on a show against Crawford i thought, why you mad? That fight was tight.
I don't buy that ducking shyt, Benavidez seems to want it with anyone as far as i can see.
Canelo gave Plant 4 weeks just post of his last fight, that's how Reynoso plays the game.
