I know about that but I thought the one about unifications > mandatories still stand
Unifications only trump mandatories if the mandos hasn't been ordered yet.

Once the champ is ordered to fight his mando, it's a wrap. He has to fight him or he'll get stripped, even if he tries to fight another champ

I got smoke for the WBA and the WBC, but the WBO is :scust:. A trash ass belt that nobody ever used to want, and Bob forced it to be recognized as a major belt just to keep undisputed champions from happening and pumping out 3 and 4 division never unified until the 3rd or 4th weight class(:hhh:), all so if you want to have an undisputed champion you have to do business with him and give him a 50-50 split even if he has done next to nothing to build up the promotion for a fight. fukk the WBO, they should of never recognized that trash ass belt in the first place.

Victor Ortiz in The Clear, Sexual Assault Case is Formally Dismissed
By BoxingScene Staff

Published On Mon Dec 14, 2020, 03:01 PM EST

Former welterweight champion Victor Ortiz is officially in the clear with respect to criminal charges stemming from a sexual assault case, according to a report by TMZ.

In 2018, the 33-year-old Ortiz was alleged to have raped a woman at a residence in Oxnard, California.

After the allegations were made, Ortiz was hit with three felony charges - including forcible rape, forcible oral copulation and forcible digital penetration.

Ortiz was facing a lengthy prison sentence if convicted and spent the last two years fighting the charges in court.

The case was formally dismissed at a court hearing on Monday -- and according to court records obtained by TMZ, prosecutors say they simply could not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Ortiz issued a statement in the aftermath.

"Although I was confident this would be the result, this still has been a terrible and unimaginable ordeal that I am relieved to put behind me," Ortiz stated.

"With this case no longer my focus, I look forward to picking up and advancing my boxing and entertainment careers. I can’t wait to get back in the gym. I also look forward to spending my time with my two young children, my family and loyal friends without the weight of these charges hanging over me and my loved ones."

Ortiz was scheduled to face John Molina in September 2018 - but the contest was dropped after he was arrested for sexual assault.

With a record of 32-6-3, Ortiz has been out of the ring since going to a draw with Devon Alexander in February 2018.
