To be honest JuanMa had some decent wins tho. He looked like he had the goods. Much more so than Verdejo, but even then Bob was trying to protect him from Gamboa.
nikka thought this was Floyd/Pac/Cotto, where you can use some of their opponents to gauge the others, but you gotta see the signs. JuanMa while quality, wasn't on their level. After the Marquez fight he should have rolled the dice. Salido wasn't going to prepare him for Gamboa.

Think Verdejo is who he is at this point. He's kinda like the great value version of Linares and Dulorme blended together.
