Broner will be matched carefully even if he beats Paulie and stays at WW. For his first defense, I wouldnt expect them to put him him with a solid boxer puncher like Ortiz or a guy with the speed and athleticism of Berto. Guerrero may be a bit of a tall task for his first defense as well. Lopez and then Maidana would be better options in that order. Maidana is an "easy but dangerous" fight. Meaning that boxing wise it shouldnt be a tough affair but there will always be the danger of Maidana landing something big. Maidana has a little more than a punchers chance so he should be respected as such. As the following trend however, look for him to fight the highest money/lowest reward type fighter. Which wont be Berto or Alexander.

true, but expect the Broner camp to see how he handles power at 147 first. so his next fight they would have a guy who is a step up in power but not too much. if Paulie buzzes Broner...expect his camp to start with the and re-evaluate their future opponents.

Malignaggi fight will be closer than people think, he's fought nothing but slugger Mexicans in his last fights, this is the first boxer he's faced. And remember Paulie does worst against guys faster than him that dart in and out, or those guys who take three to throw one, Broner is neither

I think Broner right now is faster than Malignaggi, but to Paulie's credit, Broner hasn't dealt with a Boxer who knows how to move. Broner stays in too close of a distance a lot of the time. Eventually he's gonna do that to the wrong guy, but not sure it's Paulie.
