I am a Broner fan. I like the kid's potential as a fighter. He is following the :moneymay: formula. No matter what people are going to paint him as the villian anyway, so he may as well play it up. I wouldnt underestimate Paulie giving him a tougher than expected fight although I dont expect it.

Spence Clears Up Rumors of KO'ing Broner in Sparring - Boxing News

It’s well known that rumors in the boxing world spread like wildfire.

The latest bit of intrigue circulating around several forums and various social-networking sites claims that reigning WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner recently had a rough go of it in sparring with talented 2012 Olympian Errol Spence Jr.

The incident reportedly took place at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, where Spence, a junior middleweight prospect with a 4-0 (3) record, has been spotted training ahead of his May 3rd showcase at the Cosmopolitan Resort Casino.

The only problem with that rumor is that Broner doesn’t train at the gym when he is in Vegas these days, as he instead has been spotted simply soaking up the atmosphere inside of the building the last few times he was in town.

Catching up with Spence, he dispelled the notion that he and Broner had gone rounds recently in Vegas.

“We didn’t spar at all,” claimed the 23-year old southpaw.

However, it should be noted that Spence and Broner have sparred in the past. At the time Errol was still an amateur, as the two men traded leather at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

During a recent interview with Barry Hunter, courtesy of ThaBoxingVoice.com, the respected trainer confirmed seeing the sparring match, but denied reports that Broner had gotten knocked down or out.

“I was there,” Hunter stated. “No, he never knocked Broner out or nothing like that there. He got caught with a good shot.”

Spence agreed with Hunter’s assessment of the action.

“What Barry Hunter was saying was right,” said Spence. “He was on point.”

Spence is as humble as a kid as you will find in the game and it’s obvious that he isn’t looking to draw any further attention to the incident.

Concerning his relationship with Broner, he insists they remain close.

“We’re good friends,” stated Spence. “I talk to him all the time.”

As far as life at the Mayweather Boxing Club these days, the gym again has a special aura to it, as Floyd Mayweather continues to train diligently for his May 4th bout with Robert Guerrero, set to take place at the MGM Grand in a Showtime pay per view attraction.

Zab showed up to the press conference like he was supposed to on time, then they locked him and his fam in a little ass room with no explanation. Oscar tweets, now deleted, that Zab no-showed the press conference and was unprofessional. Zab sees this, comes out informed that he was locked up in a lil ass room to make Angel Garcia happy.......Angel "running his fukking mouth 24/7" Garcia, not Danny, not his trainer, no.......his punk ass dad

Angel talks maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad shyt, then when confronted he wants to play victim. Judah also didn't like being called "******"

This is BROOKLYN, his HOME-TOWN, yet they're treating Zab like he's some non-English speaking fighter who's getting a random lucky break and should just be happy to be here. That's unprofessional. No way am I being locked up in a safe room with my wife and kids so the out-of-towner, who again is mad disrespectful, can feel comfortable.....

See I didn't know the full story, I thought Zab was just mad at De La Hoya becuase of a tweet.

Golden boy handle the situation wrong, but I think they it was becuase of the fact that Zab and friends have had a past history of acting out in anger.

Not that Im justifying Golden boys actions.


Remember, the last time the Judah's and Garcia's met it got heated.


Zab Judah has right to be mad at Golden Boy judging him by his stupid actions when he was younger.
