Most recent example of Stamina issues coming to back you is Yarde against Kovalev.

Boy only went 7 twice against lesser competition. So once the 9th or 10th rolled around he was Toast. First L getting essentially stopped by a Jab :francis:

Yarde fight also shows the importance of pacing yourself, timing and placement of the punches even when you have someone hurt. Ward, E, Alvarez 1st fight and Canelo blasted Kovalev out of there by placing those punches perfectly and not just swinging for the fences once he was hurt but Yarde? ...:francis:. That shyt was so disappointing to watch. A young fighter just blowing the opportunity like that.

Bro everybody seen it, but gassing out VERY late in your very first world title fight when you were very active and dominant for the first 8-9 rounds isn't a huge red flag bro. Stamina issues can be fixed.

To be honest, most boxers that got stamina issues, never seem to really fix them. They just work around it. Warren shyt bad though, because it be legit costing him fights.

Guys like Canelo and Pascal kinda make it work for em tho. Levels I guess.

Come to think of it, can stamina issues be fixed? Can anyone think of a fighter that had significant problems with stamina and managed to change that?

Is possible............. like I believe while wilder would still lose that extra muscle didn't help that stamina and movement vs fury

Nelo looked fine in his Jacobs and Kov fights stamina wise

Of course his stamina look good when its a slow paced fight and nikkas is standing in front of him watching him make defensive gifs:mjlol:

Nelo let a drained Jacobs comeback late in the fight and make it competitive after the 1st half was a wash. If he had good stamina he could have really pressed dude and possibly gotten a stoppage. Dude made a 117-110 type of bout turn into a 115-113 decision. Remember this wasn't the Avengers trained Jacobs from the GGG and Arias fights. This was a flat Jacobs that didn't have a lot on his shots.

Nobody with good stamina would allow that version of Kovalev to pitty pat his way into a controversial decision like Kovalev almost did. Even Yarde had dude closer to the brink before gassing out himself. Fight shouldn't have been longer than 6 rounds.

Trash stamina is what's keeping Canelo from making classic good fights like all the elite Mexicans before him.

Killin Nelo stamina :dead:

So, you don't think Nelo has a "war" fight in him bc of his stamina? I ask because while he may not have prime stamina, it seems like dudes don't like what he give back when they in the phone booth with them

Canelo does have a war fight in him.
Its called the GGG rematch an even in that fight, he let old ass GGG come back and make that late rally that hurt him in like the 10th rd. :mjlol:
