Yup
About 4-5 years I think. You may be right, idk, I don’t memorize everything that’s written on here, we’re talking about tens of thousands of posts. I believe you though, you were thinking about Pac’s later years with TR.I don’t know how long you been in The Ring but I’ve given Arum plenty props. But everything I said about him was true. Arum did fail Pac as a promoter and he did give up on him. Nothing you said can refute this regardless of what Arum has done in the far past for Pacquiao
Now I’m about to get flooded from Warrington stans
Hold up
Now I know many of the fans hate Arum, I can see why too but it’s still funny to see Arum failing Pac as a promoter written down. He took a small Philippino fighter and made him the most famous boxer of his generation along with Mayweather. It wasn’t Haymon or anybody else.
If I'd be in his position I could give a fukk about that mandatory and the belt too.
He's turning 39 soon, when he wants a rubber match? At fukking 40? Or is he just after the cash now and don't actually want to beat Canelo? If that so it makes sense but otherwise it doesn't. He won't have any upside holding a belt with Canelo. It would in any other case but not with Canelo. Probably he would have to fight him at 168 anyway, so...
He's also a surefire HOF-er, it's not like that IBF belt gonna make him or break him. Why care about fighting Szeremeta when you are 39 and have an opportunity to close the rivalry for big $$$? I don't undestand
He used what he could, there are no rules of what count being a good promoter and what doesn't. He built him up on a way or another what matters is that he (as a promoter) did it and that it worked. How many small Asian fighters have you seen make it big in the US like Pac did? I think it's unprecedented. How much leg work did Bob really do building up Pac though? He used Floyd's name the whole time to build up Pac, only difference between then and now is he wasn't cheap with his matchmaking so Pac still fought quality opps.
oh actually he just urned 38 so I was one year off. Not like it would change the pointdamn he up there in age

Bruce Lee doesn't count
