Jermell Charlo On Tony Harrison Trilogy: F--k No!

Jermell Charlo believes two fights with Tony Harrison was enough to prove the point he believed he made the first time around.
The two-time and reigning 154-pound titlist has long envisioned cleaning out the junior middleweight division. With that came the understanding that a rematch with Detroit’s Harrison was absolutely necessary, if only to right what he felt was a horrible wrong that came from their first fight. Harrison (28-3, 21KOs) claimed a disputed 12-round decision win, and with it Charlo’s unbeaten record and 154-pound title in their December 2018 meeting.
“I had to take Tony out. I just wanted y’all to know that was a whole fraud move,” Charlo (33-1, 17KOs) noted while hosting a live chat on the official Facebook fan page of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC). “I don’t know what the boxing world was on when they were trying to do me like that.
“It’s always something to try to make a legacy important and I guess that’s what I went through.”
The two were due to rematch last June, only for Harrison to suffer an ankle injury which postponed the bout by six months. It proved well worth the wait, as the two produced one of the best fights of 2019. Charlo scored three knockdowns in total, coming on strong in the second half to stop Harrison in the 11th round of their December 2019 thriller.
As memorable as was the fight—which headlined the second most-watched boxing telecast of 2019—a trilogy isn't viewed as a necessity by the two-time titlist who has aspirations of becoming undisputed champion.
“Would I ever fight him (again)? F--k no,” Charlo bluntly states. “Why…so we can go back and prove another point, a point we already proved? I already proved that in the first fight, but I guess everyone was just listening to the hype man, to Tony Harrison. He hyped real good, and then he got his ass knocked out.
“What y’all want me to do, go wiggle and dance with him in the ring? It’s entertainment, and that’s why you should tune in and watch my next fight.”
I could easily see him owning all that shyt he owns living in Houston if that's what he has made for those 3 fights.
Im dubious, rent-a-fleet for the cameras without a doubt.
Something not right, charlo aint a big name like that
