Dude needs to fire his trainer
sheesh derevyanchenko gets all the chances in the world but he did give the triple gawd a helluva fight...with that being said he needs a soft touch before going after another champ
Both the decisions against GGG and Jacos could have gone his way too so I don't find it wrong that he gets another big fight. Charlo might have his hands full with him, now it's time for him to prove himself and beat a legit top 5 160 fighter. If he does it more impressive than GGG and Jacobs that would be a statement.
Yeah and the cucay fight was tough toobut i think derevyanchenko needs a soft touch before that fight...he took a lot of punishment from ggg to do what he did
I said this in the fight thread for ggg vs derevyanchenko that derevyanchenko had more issues with him than he did ggg or jacobs but culcay gave away too many early rounds and it cost himYeah and the cucay fight was tough too
Even after having his soul taken by hearnsoh yeah martin always had love for boxing..he definitely got down
Barthelemy-Puello 3/28 in Las Vegas For Interim-WBA Title on Showtime

BoxingScene.com has been advised that former two-division champion Rances "Kid Blast" Barthelemy (27-1-1) will return to the ring on March 28th in Las Vegas against WBA interim super lightweight champion Alberto Puello (17-0).
The fight will likely land at Park MGM and will headline a Premier Boxing Champions card on Showtime.
Barthelemy, who has held titles at 130 and 135 pounds, saw action once in 2019 when he battled Robert Easter Jr. to a draw in April in a lackluster fight at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas based Cuban has enlisted the services of fellow Cuban Pedro Roque and is holding his training camp at Roque's home base in Miami for this fight. World class strength and conditioning coach Angel "Memo" Heredia has worked with Barthelemy for his past several fights and will also be in his Florida camp.
Roque is considered one of the best trainers to come out of Cuba and has worked with fighters such as Yuriorkis Gamboa, Yuniel Dorticos and several others.
Puello captured his interim title in July when he outpointed then unbeaten Jonathan Alonso in his native Dominican Republic. The 25-year-old will be taking a massive step up in competition. All of his 17 professional fights have taken place in his home country.
