One of my favorite things in boxing is when you have a fighter, that has showed the eagerness to fight anyone in the past, are eventually asked questions about a certain fighter, the hey hit the "it's gonna make sense" button.

It's just interesting what fighter makes them bring out that sort of reaction.

This is something damn near every fighter does. It just let's us know what fight they don't like, at least at that point in time.

Like you don't want to face the best competition currently available to you...but you also don't want to face any criticism that comes with taking that route....

He probably won't get any credit for beating Porter and tons of criticism if god forbid he goes life and death like Spence did

All SP matches against PBC best in Thurman, Garcia and Spence were all disputed matches on way or the other......TC dominates SP and he could hold that card over all the other PBC fighters, as Porter is looking like the Welter weight boogeyman.....

Porter was supposed to be LIGHT WORK for Spence coming off the bad Ugas performance.
Let's be real here Porter is basically a measuring stick fight at this point, nothing more. No one here thinks Porter has a chance at unifying titles or holding a belt for any significant length of time .
I think Crawford should fight him but he's right when he says it nothing for him there

I don't think Crawford wants to fight Porter, because once Porter figures out Bud's average at best defense, Crawford won't be able to physically dominate him like he has done everyone else who figured out how to get to him. Also Porter legit might beat Bud's ass. Bud aint ever been in a fight with someone who can be just as physical as him when he needs to be.

Crawford is hell bent on keeping Gamboa as his best win.

Yeah Porter coming off a loss, but it was close loss where most people thought the knockdown made the difference. Nothing wrong with that fight unless you don't think you can win or do as good as the PBC guys did.

He needs a performance against a known top guy that people can compare to, especially if he plan on making bigger fights. If you truly p4p 1 an on another level, you'll dominate Shawn and call out everybody else afterwards. That interview was a bad look. Bud stay blowing opportunities to make his case.

Imo(not including Manny or Spence cause those fights aint happening soon) I think Danny could KO Bud as well. That shot Mean Machine countered Bud with, Danny would have put him on his ass, idk if post injury Thurman could, but pre injury Thurman would have as well. Bud aint shown me anything at 147 to tell me he should be the betting favorite over the other top dogs in the division, and a part of me thinks there are certain fighters who could expose him.
