Loma isn't available to them until the back end of 2020 (at least) anyway, so this is a good choice of opponent, it would be good. Probably the best available opponent for Haney at 135, also in the top 5 of the division IMO.

Tyson Fury Eyes Retirement: I Think I Have Three Fights Left
This for the best. His head ain't really in it now. But for the right money he will be back

Kinda agree... he's probably the best HW now but the thing is with Fury there's no in-between, just like he himself, his matchmaking is bipolar too. Either easy (if he doesn't fight to the level of his opposition) fights or super hard ones, no in-between.
Wallin turned out to be better than expected though but he wasn't meant to be.

How is Loma not available??
For once Loma is waiting to fight the winner of Commey vs Lopez which takes place only in December which makes it probable that the earliest he fights the winner of that is sometimes late spring of 2020.

For twice Arum requested the WBC to make Loma a franchise champion which they accepted, simultaneously they made Haney the "regular" WBC champion, apparently a franchise champion hasn't got to fight mandatories. Basically, the WBC just made up a new title to "excuse" themselves for something they failed to do in the past anyway (just think about how long Stevenson didn't have to take any mandatories for example).
Obviously, the timing is not coincidental, they requested Loma to be promoted to franchise champion cause they knew Haney is the waiting WBC mandatory and they didn't want that fight for whatever reasons. I don't think Loma would be scared of Haney but his path was directed on a way so he won't have to care about him anytime soon, only if he chooses to. I hope he chooses to after he fought the Commey vs Lopez winner (assuming he wins) but now it's clear they want nothing to do with Haney.

Yea.. sounds like a bunch of bullshyt to me..
I could see if there was already a set date for this imaginary matchup in the Spring
, but its not.. Also Im willing to bet if Loma does fight the winner, that fight is gonna be a year away..
Im the meantime Loma can just fight Haney in between or just he can just pull a ggg impression and say Haney is too much for him

Idk what are we arguing about now breh
None of us are blaming Haney, right, my point was if he can't get Loma, Campbell is a good opponent and I guess an easy fight to make (Matchroom).
