I like Paul too, but I've noticed over the years you were really high on him.

He always looked like shyt against southpaws (quintana, martinez, lara). Lara is significantly better than Carlos.

Lara whooped his ass so bad, that many were calling for Williams to retire.

It was terrible matchmaking by his team. I just don't understand why they would put him in with another southpaw like that.

Paul destroyed dude when they ran the fade back though:mjgrin:

Sergio landed a well placed punch, probably worked all camp on it ala Marquez/Manny..second late Paul probably eats the shot and KIM :manny:. I give you/agreed on Lara, he's not a scrub though and I felt he beat Canelo

TICKETS ON SALE FOR USYK-TAKAM TOMORROW
Pound-for-pound star makes Heavyweight bow in Maryland on May 25
Tickets for the Heavyweight debut of pound-for-pound star Oleksandr Usyk against Carlos Takam on Saturday May 25 at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland live on DAZN in the US and on Sky Sports in the UK, go on pre-sale tomorrow morning at 10am ET.

Undisputed Cruiserweight king Usyk (16-0 12KOs) made the move to Heavyweight following his domination of the Cruiserweight division over the last 18 months, winning the inaugural World Boxing Super Series and then bowing out at 200lbs with a KO win over Tony Bellew in Manchester, England.

The Ukrainian hero begins his assault on the Heavyweight division with a tough test against rugged French-Cameroonian Takam (36-5-1 28KOs), the former World title challenger heading into the clash on the back of a return to winning ways with a KO win at The O2 in London, England in December, the same venue he shared a fight of the year contender with Dereck Chisora in July.

Tickets are priced at $40, $80, $150 and $250 (plus fees) and go on pre-sale at 10am ET tomorrow (Wednesday April 10) using the following pre-sale codes USYK, TAKAM and MBUSA at this link: https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/15005688E0B851B0

i fully expect this fight to be another asswhoopin....it seems that brant found his identity now..murata will prolly get stopped this time

good shyt

That fight doesn’t warrant a rematch, kind of a “We can’t find you an interesting fight cause everybody else is at DAZN, breh... :yeshrug:“ struggle matchup.

Kovalev vs Yarde... Im skeptical lol but let’s hope. It’s really sink or swim time for Yarde and he can only blame his team including Warren that they didn’t prepare him to a Kovalev level fighter but fed him cab drivers mostly. There was no really gradual increase in his level of opponents after a point, just the same old club fighters and journeymen. They didn’t increase his level of opponents in accordance how they increased the hype around him.
That doesn’t mean he can’t still beat Kovalev but it will be really hard and not having proper opponents to be prepared doesn’t help either.
