It looks like Showtime is finally stepping up their promo game. FOX has set the standard!

Shields/Hammer has 2 All Access episodes and Wilder/Braz is also getting an All Access.

I can’t remember the last time Showtime did an All Access for a non PPV fight..and now they have 2x in a row (unless I’m mistaken?)

I hope they keep it up. If they do 1 a month, or even 1 Day In Camp a month (if it’s a squash fight), they’ll be back on track.

All Access is a great series, there’s no reason they should have limited it to 1x a year like they have for the last few years.

Now we just need ESPN/Top Rank to step it up.

Lara was legit robbed and I if recall correctly, one of the judges got suspended.

To Punisher credit, his hustle and volume still won him 3 or 4 rounds but he got his ass kicked soundly. If Lara would have been more aggressive in certain spots he could have pushed for the stoppage and saved himself from the fukkery he eventually got.

Lara should have never let that go the distance, but he still got jobbed. Prolly karma for the Molina fight which I as well as others thought he lost, but got that gift draw.

I thought Lara was going to get this win. I was vexed watching Punisher fight the way he did. Lara was more aggressive than what he usually was. I said it before but I was thinking Punisher was trying to prove something after getting ko'ed by Sergio with his chin. I couldn't feel too bad for Lara getting jobbed because I saw him get that gift draw vs Carlos Molina. He needed some L on his record.

$$$. Sakakibara built pride off yakuza money and sold pride’s tape library for $70 million to the UFC. Wouldn’t surprise me if they’re still a money laundering operation.

Floyd was probably brought in with TV money. The week of NYE is basically sweeps week in Japan and everyone stays in to watch singing competitions and fights.

This next Rizin show is on PPV so who knows where the money is coming from.

Japanese people love their spectacles and freakshows. Shame, because Rizin usually books some really fun shows but this is what they need to do to get ratings and generate PPV buys over there.

I like Paul too, but I've noticed over the years you were really high on him.

He always looked like shyt against southpaws (quintana, martinez, lara). Lara is significantly better than Carlos.

Lara whooped his ass so bad, that many were calling for Williams to retire.

It was terrible matchmaking by his team. I just don't understand why they would put him in with another southpaw like that.

To be fair I never seen Hammer but I seen shields and Shields ain’t that great as she hyped up to be.
