I can understand refusing the flat fee above all if AJ get PPV points. But the situation makes it look like everybody's ducking everybody. All their moves make sense business-wise but from a competitive stand point, it's terrible.
not really.. when Floyd was offering $40 million they said Pac was ducking by not taking the flatfee. same with ggg/Canelo. And look how much they end up making.. But Wilder wrong for not taking a flat fee where even of he wins and becomes undisputed je still has to take the same flat fee in the 2nd fight.. they wont even reveal what AJ was gonna get in either fight??
But if Canelo the biggest PPV star rn (well... before he went to DAZN) wasn't bothered by getting a fix price instead of fighting on PPV cause the fix price was so good (33M/fight estimated) then idk what Wilder's problem is
What Canelo do dont make Wilder shyt though.. And that was a shytty deal if you ask me.. For the biggest ppv star signing an 11 fight deal(11 Fights!!!!) for 365m when he can easily make $50m for 1 fight..
