Demetrius Andrade vs. Billy Joe Saunders Ordered By WBO
The World Boxing Organization has ordered a mandatory fight between WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade and ex-beltholder Billy Joe Saunders.
The sanctioning body issued the order on Tuesday and gave both sides thirty (30) days upon receipt of the letter to negotiate and reach an agreement regarding.
If an agreement is not reached within the time frame, a purse bid will be ordered pursuant to the WBO's rules. The minimum acceptable bid is $200,000. Any of the parties involved may request an immediate purse bid at any time during the negotiation process.

I'm glad that they still do this with that said it's ridiculous how the WBO sucking up to Frank Warren by ordering this months before their ban for BJS would have ended. They supposedly banned him for 6 months starting from September and he was only supposed to return in their rankings after the 6 months passed. We are only in January.

In this social media era with a plethora of guys to fight like Berto, Khan, etc he's always gonna be able to make decent money. Obviously, he'll never get those monster paydays, but he's a million dollar fighter, which is still an accomplishment. It's prize fighting at the end of the day, and not everyone can command that type of purse.
