He should be glad that he's well connected and the WBA didn't strip him off his belt, if anything he can be very happy he is still a champion, it's unfair with other fighters who are ranked at the first few places by the WBA.

Fighter of the year should be Usyk
Trainer of the year are the Reynoso brothers imo, could be Papachenko too but I like how Canelo totally flipped the script on the GGG rematch and walked him down
KO of the year: Soro vs Vendetti to me
Comeback of the year: Fury. Ioka can come close if he beats Nietes but considering how deep Fury came back from it's gotta be him to me regardless
Fight of the year: I'm holding out on that
Prospect of the year: Haney to me, I like what I'm seeing from the dude, not only fast and skilled but seems to be real intelligent in there so far.
Upset of the year: Well, there were some, Navarrete vs Dogboe for example. I go with that or Patera vs Ritson or even Harrison vs Charlo which would be the obvious winner had Harrison won it clearly and not controversially.

Random thought after rewatching the Charlo double header from last week. It’s crazy how Jermall is now the better pure boxer between the two. Mall isn’t scared to get hit and mix it up, all he needs to do is focus on the body more, Mell too.
They both need to work on their inside game , Mall seems closer to being a complete fighter. Want to see them both take that step in the next fight and no more damn double headers. They can’t fight on the same card.

Appearing on the same card is a good sell I guess and just as the loss of one of them can affect the other they can also feed off of the win of the other one
Agree on the Charlos, Jermell used to be the "boxer Charlo" but fallen in love with his newfound power lately.
I read somewhere (maybe here...?) that they always attack in a straight line which is also true and a bad habit they need to strip down.

I think the real fight of the year should be Wilder outside of that draw, the boy been fighting at the highest level......Mikey Garcia is up there too
