But if we’re just focusing on Shawn being better skilled. His jabs better, his offense all around is better, he can make adjustments way better, his footwork is infinitely better, his feints are better. Now you may not look at things the same way because you’re a Swift fan, but look at Danny’s inability to put together punches, look at his inability to consistently jab, look at his inability to set up anything except for a right hand or left hook. Furthermore, look at his footwork, fundamentally good yes, but incredibly slow. So those are some of the reasons I think Shawn Porter has superior skills than Danny Garcia. Moreso than anything, Danny doesn’t have anything but basic power at 147. Once Porter realized he doesnt punch that hard, he started beating Danny’s ass. Anyway that’s why I think that breh. nikkas is clearly mixing up better skilled with better effort.

Porter and Swift are both skilled, but they excel in different areas. Based off the eye test, I'd say Swift is the more skilled boxer, but not by much. Danny definitely punches better and has better defense. The only punch Porter throws better is his jab which he don't always use.

The thing is Porter gets more out of his skills because he always backs it with inhuman effort. Looking rough or ugly ain't a big deal when you still controlling the fight and outworking your opponent. Just like being more skilled ain't a big deal if you not controlling the fight and dictating the action.

When matching 2 opponents and everything is equal, its usually the effort that separates them in a fight.

In a sense, Swift beat himself. He couldn't overcome the one flaw we all knew he had which was his workrate.

Resume's are starting to mean less and less to me if their isn't a couple 50/50 or underdog type of fights sprinkled in there.

Mikey resume is solid. Dude has faced more legit threats than a guy like Bud for instance, but Mikey been favored to beat everyone he's faced. Broner was the only guy that everyone wasn't sure on because of the weight class and the thought of "focused" Broner showing up. Other than that his resume ain't special at all.

Not at all friend. You musta forgot since I don’t post here that often anymore. Mikey’s resume is filled with dudes that were undefeated champions before they fought him, and in general is filled with top notch competition, many former champs. Lol name three dudes with better resumes than Mikey Mikey has nothing but KOs and UDs on his record. No close fights with okay opposition. Nothing special lol, you’re trippin breh. I get what y’all saying tho but how did Porter win with less skill . Them ugly punches count just as much as that pretty shyt. I can’t say that Danny is better skilled that Shawn P if he lost to him. It’s just like saying Chocolito is more skilled than King Sor but he clearly got beat by him.

Yea I saw Danny get himself busted up by a basic up jab and hand feints. I saw Porter getting inside of Danny’s range not allowing him to get his punches off. Using his boxing skills to beat Swift. But like ya said agree to disagree.
