Plant is up there in the rankings and Uzcategui is there as the interim

gonna be interesting which one comes out on top out of the three (Plant, Uzca and the winner of Truax vs Degale)
if I´d have to pick I´d go with Uzcategui, I liked what I saw from him on both Dirrell fights, especially the second

He was\is talented but I always thought him to be slightly overrated
he struggled hard with past prime Bute and Medina, I think he lost against Jack but got the draw nevertheless and finally he lost to Truax
Even if he beats Truax now he won´t be the same fight he who beat Dirrell imo. That and the Jack fight were his career best performances, now he´s been through too many tough fights and he is older too which is never good for a fighter who builds so much on speed and athleticism as DeGale does.

DeGale also seems to be struggling with consistent pressure cause he fights in spots and can´t really offer anything if he gets pushed up close
I think at this point Uzcategui would eat him

Smh

I thought unification fights could take priority over mandatories.

Wilder will probs face Brezeale now. Two pointless fights IMO
They can take priority.
They would have to get Povetkin to take a step aside deal.....but being that Povetkin is backed by millionaires, that's very unlikely to happen.

Joshua vs Povetkin in Russia coming soon.

So what happened to where the WBA #1 contender is the mando for the regular champ(Charr) not the Super champ. and even if he is the mando the WBA can still allow the unification to take precedent

I don't know, sounds like you just exposed the WBA being on some trash breh...that was a great point:sas2:

And this is also interesting:

Povetkin is the mandatory challenger to Joshua in two sanctioning bodies, the WBO and WBA.
Povetkin Hopes Joshua is Next, Feels He Made UK Fans

Gilberto Mendoza, president of the WBA, told Sky Sports that a Joshua-Povetkin fight “should be” next for both boxers. Mendoza added that Joshua could be granted an exception to push back his mandatory defense against Povetkin, but only for another title unification fight.
Hearn: Joshua Must Fight Povetkin This Year; Wants It In the UK

So, we wouldn't even need a step aside fee....just for Joshua to sign to face Wilder for it to be next. The fact they would rather face Povetkin, in Russia where PEDs are basically a side dish to your morning breakfast, means only 1 thing when it comes to Joshua wanting Wilder next:sas2:
