Speaking of Porter:birdman:

"I try to give everybody the benefit of the doubt but that generosity is wearing off. It's just interesting to see someone of his status doing the things that he's doing, not fighting, coming up with X-amount of injuries, X-amount of time to prepare for another fight and even on top of that not even preparing to fight someone you should be fighting," Porter said to BoxingScene.com on Wednesday night.

Thurman made it clear that he wasn't going to face a particularly tough fighter in his return to the ring.

Porter (28-2-1, 17 KO's), who defeated Adrian Granados via 12-round decision in November, opined:

"He hasn't had a fight because he can't find anybody that is easy enough for him and I think that's more of the reason why he's not fighting than the fact that he's had multiple injuries now."

Step up time for Haney, this is a good fight

That's a really good matchup for Devin Haney to see what he's really about. Also, it's good for Mason Menard bc we get to see if he's for real, and the Beltran fight was just a hiccup, or if he's just another "gives you good work" type of fighter:obama:

Anybody feeling any type of way that GGG isn't facing Andrade on short notice is a hater, straight up :hubie:
Derevyanchenko is also available and they couldve even scheduled a fight with BJS in june. GGG and his team had since march to find and prepare for possible replacements.

Abel sanchez is always talking shyt about how andrade and jemall charlo don't deserve a fight with GGG, yet they chose some 21 year old kid who hasn't even fought at 160 yet :dead::dead:

your stars are but dust on my shoes
Porter ain't shyt when he's not bullying lil fighters. He was forced to reconsider fighting at 154, so he's been draining himself hoping to feast on smaller fighters. He's a dirty mfer, but it ain't no confidence that he looked regular against Brook and Thurman. Spence and/or a move up to 154 will be the final nail in his career.

I think Porter can pull off a victory (ugly ass decision) against Swift, but I like how Danny has grown into 147. That being said, I see Porter's smothering really frustrating Danny.

I'm tired of Porter talking like he ain't food
