Porter ain't shyt when he's not bullying lil fighters. He was forced to reconsider fighting at 154, so he's been draining himself hoping to feast on smaller fighters. He's a dirty mfer, but it ain't no confidence that he looked regular against Brook and Thurman. Spence and/or a move up to 154 will be the final nail in his career.

I think Porter can pull off a victory (ugly ass decision) against Swift, but I like how Danny has grown into 147. That being said, I see Porter's smothering really frustrating Danny.

I'm tired of Porter talking like he ain't food

Idk what you talking about here breh

Porter ain’t shyt when he’s not bullying small fighters?
Where to start with this...?
Well, first off there are no weight bullies just fighters who can make a certain weight and those who can’t. You can’t realistically criticise a fighter that he can cut more than most other fighters.

Secondly Porter is not some D level 160 pounder who makes welterweight. We are talking about the same dude who beat Usyk, yes, the same Usyk in the amateurs.

Thirdly Porter gave Thurman his toughest fight ever, arguably it could have gone to him as well and he also gave Brook all he could handle, Brook only won narrowly. Both Thurman and Brook are big welterweights similarly to Porter, I’d say they are walking around heavier than him. I never heard that in these recent years Porter would had serious hardship with making 147 (as opposed to Brook) and he even made 144 against Broner.

He looked regular vs Brook and Thurman? :dwillhuh:
Who didn’t then? Spence and Golovkin? Cause Brook still didn’t have a win closer than the one he’s got over Porter and nobody ever made shyt hot for Thurman as Porter did, including Swift. So if he looked regular than so did Brook and Thurman? And how about Swift’s struggling then?

And what you mean you’re tired he’s talking like he ain’t food? :what: He is a legit top 5 ww for now.
Food for who exactly? :manny: Spence or Crawford? Cause he sure as hell wasn’t just food for Thurman and Brook.

You can dislike or even hate his style, I can understand why someone don’t like him but he’s doing something right otherwise he wouldn’t be where he is now, in the top 5 of one of the strongest divisions.

Porter is having trouble making 147 and Brook didn't narrowly beat Porter...He boxed his head off...dude won 9-3 and 8-4 on 2 of the cards with 1 stupid judge giving it a draw. Narrowly beat Porter is what Thurman did.

I had it differently, 8-4 I can see, 9-3 not really, that was no boxing master class, it was an ugly clinch fest. Brook apparently had enough physical power to tie Porter up mostly and he placed some nice shots on him when they weren't on the inside but that was no boxing master class. It was an ugly win... but you can only win ugly against Porter except if you can knock him out somehow

That Brook/Porter fight was closer than the 8-4 even suggest. Brook just usually did the slightly better work in majority of rounds. Still was close rounds.
Neither Brook or porter are fantastic. They both have things that make them above average but neither special. Kells a good boxer w power and Shawn has a tough style and intangibles.
