So he wants a 2 fight deal that will essentially be a 50/50 split. Whatever lesser percentage he gets in the first fight he'll get the reverse in the rematch.

I think thats somewhat fair ONLY if he wins the first fight. Not coming this weekend is the wrong move though, doesn't help his case at all. His team giving him the wrong advice.

Cause boxing in the higher weight divisions needs more rematches but i get what you mean and where you coming from

oh well, last time I read that same stuff it was for the 60-40

Exactly, boxing is the hurt business and the only sport you don't play. If a boxer has to say shyt like "I'm trying to kill this dude when I punch him" in order to get themselves mentally up for the challenge then so fukking be it.
