I said when brehs was saying Crawford should be fighting Thurman-Spence this year that it was crazy talk and I also said Spence won’t be fighting Thurman anytime soon.


Thurman-Spence happens before Crawford versus either. The longer that one takes the longer it takes Crawford to get the winner in the undisputed match. Assuming belts stay between them.

Don't be so fast to pat yourself on the back. Fury was contractually obligated to rematch Klitschko which was delayed multiple times (Klitschko calf injury, Fury ankle injury and the enormous weight gain/cocaine binge/live streaming suicidal confessions).

From Fury's own lips in September of 2015, months before getting in the ring with Wilder:

"I can’t take no fights in between. I don’t know how Kell Brook’s pay per view is going to go off against a guy [Diego Chaves] that no one even knows his name or who he’s fighting. It can’t be pay-per-view,” Fury said.
