1. Porter 2. Garcia 3. Spence unification

....He'd rather delay and let that shyt sort itself out in his absence. I knew when he announced his elbow surgery during Brook-Spence fight week there was some shyt going on :mjpls:

Breh....once again, you don't know what you're talking about:snoop:

Deontay Wilder's fight against Alexander Povetkin was mandated by the WBC:ufdup:

Wilder-Povetkin Likely Happens in May or June, Says WBC Prez

By Vadim Pushkin

According to World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman, the fight between WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (36-0, 35KOs) and mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin (30-1, 22KOs) will likely take place on a date in May or June.

Povetkin and his promoter traveled to the United States last week to sit ringside on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where they watched Wilder retain his title with a ninth round knockout of Artur Szpilka.

Povetkin became a mandatory challenger last year after knocking out Mike Perez in a single round. He then came back in November to stop Polish giant Mariusz Wach in the twelfth round.

Sulaiman says the two sides are now in the 30 day negotiations period. If they are unable to reach a deal in 30 days, the WBC will ordered a purse bid.

"The next fight will absolutely see Wilder against the mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin. Right now there is a negotiating process in which the parties have 30 days [to reach a deal]. I think the fight will take place in May or June," Sulaiman said.

Wilder-Povetkin Likely Happens in May or June, Says WBC Prez

Wilder (36-0, 35KOs) will make the fourth defense of the title he claimed in a lopsided decision win over Bermane Stiverne last January in Las Vegas. His most recent victory came in highlight reel fashion, scoring a frightening 9th round knockout of Artur Szpilka this past January in front of a sold-out crowd at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Povetkin - who became Wilder's mandatory challenger following a 1st round knockout of Mike Perez last May - was in attendance for the fight alongside Ryabinsky. Not only did they have a vested interest in the outcome, but were also surveying the Barclays Center location as a possibility for their mandatory title shot.

World Of Boxing ($7.1 Million) Wins Wilder-Povetkin Purse Bid

How was Wilder supposed to just skip the mandatory fight ordered by the WBC, to fight a Tyson Fury who had no belts, meaning no way for a unification to override the mando?:martin:

Stop it.

Aches and pain are part of being an athlete. No fighter goes into the ring 100%. There’s always something nagging them. We got a guy in Keith Thurman embellishing his injuries to avoid fighting. This isn’t a Mr. Glass situation of a guy always being injured. This is a situation of a guy who is trying to play chess with the game of boxing. He wants to stay on the sidelines and hope these other guys schedule to fight each other.

I think he’s done man.

When he ends up broke :banderas: Not hoping for that:whoa: at a all, but c'mon AB. :beli:

What wrong did he do in the video breh?:dwillhuh:

If anything, is should be talked about how at 2:00 in the video, he talked about how he had a list given to him with 2 other opponents besides Adrian Granados & he chose Granados bc they are cool and he wanted to put money in his homie pockets. :obama:

And then Granados called him, thanking him, after Granados got the Porter fight also bc AB gave him an opportunity to get his name out there.:obama:
