Based on? Mikey best the guy 8-4 plus a KD. Nothing like Swift.

Swift 7-2 + ktfo Rios...Rios who was 100xs in a better place then the Rios who fought Bradley...clearly in better shape....clearly actually trying...

All we heard was Swift got exposed... 7-2 + ktfo highlight ko = exposed :mjlol:

And @reservoirdogs, and the rest of yall, you have asked me about Easter vs Garcia earlier and I aint have time.....well I got time now cuz!:
PossibleFeistyCranefly-size_restricted.gif

look at what even Mikey Garcia said about fighting Easter breh, then you tell me

“Lipinets presents a size advantage as far as weight, but Easter presents height and reach advantages,” said Garcia, who’s five inches shorter than the 5-feet-11 Easter. “That could make for a very difficult fight. He could use his height and reach advantage over me and make things more complicated. So those are the challenges.”

Kinda sounds like what I said earlier:sas1:...but nope, yall acting like Boxers don't actually analyze potential matchups, bc styles make fights. Instead they just just blindly fight whomever:francis:

It's out of his own mouth that him vs Easter is a "very difficult fight", but Im just hyping Easter bc he from Ohio....damn what Mikey himself says about a fight vs Easter huh?:sas2:

But also, Garcia was offered $3.5 million to face Easter from Al Haymon directly....what did he say about that?:mjpls:

“He’s willing to fight me and I’m willing to fight him,” Garcia told BoxingScene.com. “But when the purse was not really exciting, not what we both want, it’s hard to get those fights done. And people forget, everybody wants to get paid, everyone wants to get money. No one likes to take pay cuts.

“Whatever job you’re doing, if the boss comes and tells you, ‘I can only pay you this much because I don’t have it in the budget,’ I’m sure you’re gonna complain about why they’re cutting your money. Nobody likes to take a pay cut. So we also wanna make sure that we’re being taken care of financially, as well as in boxing.”

“I’m not saying he’s not worthy, but it just didn’t make [financial] sense for this fight in January,” Garcia said. “Maybe on another occasion we could actually get that fight [made], but it didn’t make sense for this fight.

“When it came down to the purses, again, if the guy can’t get paid what he’s asking for or generate the money that we need in sales to pay him what he’s asking for, or to get paid what we need to get paid, also, sometimes the budget ain’t gonna work.”

And Easter had responded:

“That’s just a lame excuse to not fight,” Easter said. “I don’t produce enough fans. What does Lipinets – no disrespect to him – but what … come on now. Everybody knows that is not true. I have fans all over. My fan base is big. Like I said, man, it don’t matter if we fought in a room with nobody. It shouldn’t even matter. If the money’s good and the contract’s good, then we should fight. I wouldn’t care about fighting in front of nobody, because I know what I’m gonna do.”

“If I was that much an easy fight, the fight would’ve been made off the offer they gave Mikey,” Easters said. “It would’ve been made. It just didn’t make sense, all these excuses. I don’t make no excuses. I’m coming to fight and they know that.”

“I wanted the fight,” Easter said. “It was serious on my side. I don’t care where, how much, none of that. I wanted the fight. I heard, you know, at first it was I didn’t produce enough fans or the fight didn’t make sense, which that didn’t make sense, and some other excuses the guy came up with. But like I said, I was ready to fight whenever, whatever or how much. It didn’t even matter.”

Mikey Garcia: Money Must be Right to Make Robert Easter Fight
Easter: Mikey Garcia Made 'Lame Excuse' for Not Making Our Fight

After all this proof, quotes from both sides, and Mikey didn't wanna run us our fade
HeftyDelightfulGalapagosalbatross-size_restricted.gif

And just for even more damning evidence:

Yall can "tell" me all yall want too.......but like Choc said, if this was Swift Garcia avoiding the guy who's undefeated, IBF Champion, ranked #2 by RING/ESPN in the division AND Al Haymon came to you with $3.5 million dollars to fight him, and he turned it down to face Sadam Ali at 154, and then Liam Williams & Liam Smith afterwards, we wouldn't be having this same energy. Keep it G real:ufdup:

Based on this....before the fight:

Lipinets is foooooooooooooooooooooood at 140. I can't think of any contender (:mjlol: its 140) that couldn't beat him
Lipinets is food the first time he fights a fighter with good power.

Too much arm punching, ducking into punches etc.

After the fight:

Lipinets was a harder fight than Easter would be.

That's not the same energy we would have for anyone else:hubie:

Naw Rios had been KOd by Bradley 2-3 fights previous....deposit rejected. Rios started at like 130 as well.

Im only talking about Easter bc he's from Ohio....not because he's an undefeated Champion, one of the top 3 lightweights today, with the 2nd best resume at 135 period?:dwillhuh:

Easter has speed, can crack, strong chin, height, reach, body work, good countering ability, jab is good, with alot of dog in him.

You tell me what current lightweights beat him?
and undefeated Champion? really that's the argument? he had 3 title defenses, won only one of them dominantly, against the weakest of them of course, he struggled hard with the other two and one of them could go either way, so did his fight with Commey.

You're telling me that this dude who had 2 debatable and one close wins out of his last 4 fights is some great talent? :dwillhuh:
the dude who went life and death with Fortuna last time?

nah...

you can say that he has size and reach it still won't matter until those are just numbers on a paper, what matters is whether he can take advantage on it or not. If he can't use it, it doesn't mean shyt.
Did Commey, Shafikov or Fortuna had much problem hitting him? Nah... cause he can't really use his reach for shyt, maybe at some spots but not long term.

has speed: compared to who, didn't seem to be that fast against his latter opponents, didn't seem that slow either just normal...
can crack: if that means he has heavy hands I can give that but not a particularly big puncher, his last stoppage win came 2 years ago, he fought 4 times since and couldn't even put Luis Cruz away who was his lowest level opponent since he is a champion and the only one who he could dominate
strong chin: seems like it's decent, although got rocked a few times so I wouldn't call it exceptional either
height-reach: just like I wrote above he can have all that if he can't use that at the end of the day...
body work: didn't really strike me when I watched his fights, can't recall it at least
good countering ability: sometimes but he mostly brawls and he is also not hard to hit
jab is good: there were some phases when he was successful with it for example against Fortuna but he tends to just neglect it pretty quick
a lot of dog in him: Okay

Overall I doN't see him being extraordinary talented in any of these areas. His size could be a big advantage... IF he would actually use which he doesn't... :yeshrug:

and who beats him at 135? hell, based on his last 4 fights there are a number of guys who easily have a chance.
Loma, Garcia beat him just right off the bat
Linares would also most likely beat him, that's some 70-30/65-35 in favor of Linares to me
Commey, Shafikov, Fortuna all have around 50% chance to beat him based on their first fights, Commey might even more if he improves with Rozier further
Luke Campbell would have a decent shot against him, Beltran as well

lightweight isn't the deepest division right now but there are still plenty of dudes who are dead even with him or better than him imo
I kept hearing about the talent of this dude but he lost me with his last few fight when he struggled with all but one of his opponents
again... don't have anything personal on this dude and I doN't say he would be dog shyt or anything like that, he is a fairly good fighter but I don't and won't agree with him being some great talent until he proves it in the future.
