He beat the shyt out Beltran and Linaries stop that, there no better that Fortuna or Commey especially bubble back Beltran
Linares, the guy who is ranked at #1 or #2 in lightweight depending on whose ranking it is, is no better than Fortuna who just moved up in weight for the Easter fight?
Also Beltran is around a similar level as them (Fortuna & Easter) imo although he is getting older and older.
Easter didn’t beat the shyt out of Fortuna and Commey, he wouldn’t beat the shyt out of Linares and Beltran either.

I can even see why are you arguing about Beltran cause he’s old and etc... but Linares...? Dude would be the betting favorite against Easter right now, like c’mon...

maybe I'm not right but this kid Ryan Garcia looks like he thinks boxing is just some kind of a fun game. he "plays boxing"
if that's the case he will be in for a rude awakening when he steps up.

So...you gonna bring up Linares ranking as #1......but disregard Easter's #2 ranking by RING/ESPN and say he loses to 4 or 5 people ranked lower than him?:martin:

If that aint some biased posting, i dont know what is:snoop:

Blatantly disregarding the fact Linares has already lost 3x to lesser fighters than Easter (Sergio Thompson, Antonio DeMarco, Juan Carlos Selgado)....you using Linares ranking to say he beats Easter, but yet Easter ranking as #2 dont matter when discussing the rest of the division huh? He cant get the same thought process....its different huh?:martin:

Easter had competitive fights with Commey, Shafikov, and Fortuna, but still gets the win.:jbhmm:

Linares has been KOd on 3 different occasions, TWICE by lesser opps than Easter had competitive fights with in Thompson & Selgado (neither of them are better than Commey, Shafikov, or Fortuna).:patrice:

However, your logic I quoted is: Linares is better because he's ranked #1 by RING/ESPN.....but you wont extend the same mentality to Easter bc you saying Easter isn't better than anyone else even though he's ranked #2 by RING/ESPN?:comeon:

Like breh...Ima need you to disguise your bias better next time:forreal:

You're not saying Easter beats Linares, you're just saying don't shyt on him to pump up Linares, right?

Im saying, regardless of who wins or not, you cant use logic one way...but not the other way as well. That's where blatant bias kicks in.

If you're gonna say
Linares...? Dude would be the betting favorite against Easter right now, like c’mon...
soley because Linares is ranked #1 at Lightweight by RING/ESPN, then why cant you say "Easter...? Dude would be the betting favorite against everyone else at Lightweight right now, like c'mon" when you know Easter is ranked #2 at Lightweight by RING/ESPN?

Instead it's "well...Easter will lose to 5 other guys ranked underneath him" even though Easter hasn't EVER lost and the competitive fights Easter DID have, he won them.

And then, they were against better guys than the 2 of the 3 ones who stopped Linares in Sergio Thompson & Juan Carlos Selgado...not to mention Linares JUST struggled with Luke Campbell (he got a controversial SD win over him) who's also not better than the guys Easter had close fights with either.

Basically, if you can see Easter losing to 5 other guys ranked underneath him, even though he hasn't ever lost, then how cant you see Easter beating Linares when LESSER fighters than Easter have ALREADY BEAT JORGE LINARES:mindblown:

Boxing is a what have you done for me lately sport, who gives a fukk at this point about Linares' earlier losses? last one happened 5 years ago. :what: and he is 32 which is not too old
No odds maker gonna consider them losses as some big factor when currently evaluating a Linares matchup.

Easter struggled with his opponents recently, 3 times out of his last 4 fights in the span of 1.5 years, not 5 years. If you don't think there is a difference between taking into consideration fighters' recent showing and "5 years ago" showings then I don't know what else to tell you breh.
You can be mad at me as much as you want, at the end of the day I still won't rate Robert Easter as some great talent above everything else because I have eyes and I saw what I saw on his last performances and I have an opinion on him based on this just like everybody else has. :stopitslime:
Nothing gonna change my mind, only if he proves me wrong in the future which can happen cause everybody is wrong sometimes but at this point it won't happen whatever what you telling me about him.

You making it out like I would represent some out of realm minority opinion here while I actually see the majority not being so high on Easter either.
Linares might have 3 KO losses but he would be still the betting favorite against Easter at this point. Linares vs Mikey was the fight boxing fans wanted more, not Mikey vs Easter cause most of them think both of them is better than Easter.

Can't believe I have to seriously type essays about why I don't think Robert Easter Jr. is a great talent, can't believe I'm arguing about something which seems so obvious to me when I see him fighting. It really is a wasting of time. Solid, good fighter, nothing more than that.

See that's why I like to make my comments in the fight threads so ppl know where I stand on certain fighters...like Robert Easter where I too thought he struggled hard in 3 of his last 4 fights...and thought he lost 2 of them for sure...so ppl know it's not something I'm saying just to say it. It builds that bridge of consistency:mjgrin:
